again, keep going around and around about if an ATG is a """""""hard""""""" counter or not.
I'm just wondering why the white phosphorus shot was nerfed on the dozer sherman because it was too strong against its """""""hard counter"""""" the ATG. Whats good for the goose is never good for the gander with balance team lmao. |
In a few years we will find out that the Vipper account was just part of a social experiment: "How long will people continue to talk to you if you choose to ignore their argument and instead try to disprove single sentences without the context?"
Having the 75mm-HE AI-capabilities and the 75mm-AP AT-capabilities in one shell would be stronger than having to switch between the two shell types to fight specific targets, right? Thats what was meant with "shell switch is a disadvantage". But because there is no medium tank shell that has as good AI as the 75mm-HE AND as good AT as the 75mm-AP that makes up for the disadvantage of having to switch to the correct shell. This makes the performance of the 75mm sherman balanced and switching between the shell types an interesting choice. How this can be misunderstood is beyond me and has to be purposeful derailing of the actual discussion.
Its purposeful gish gallop. He doesnt do this in OKW/OST feedback threads, but he will derail discussions in allied feedback threads doing exactly what you said, context-less, pedantic arguments around singular sentences and asking you to prove negatives constantly. Its tiring and really ruins the forum tbh.
Also I think its more than one person, or else he purposefully messes up his typing at times. |

ATG are simply not a hard counter to Brumbar.
I have zero motivation to enable your pedantic streak. An "anti tank" gun is a counter to "tanks". If you want to argue hard, soft, flimsy, flaccid, have at it general V. |
So it comes later than all TD's and just as much or more than TD's and should be even less easier to use than them???? Like wtf. The only thing this can counter is infantry and support it cant even deal with mediums.
???
Bro relax. I don't think making the brummbar fit a glass cannon archtype better would mean it cant counter anything anymore. I went to great pains to say keep its offensive firepower so its an actual shock unit you have to respect. you just shouldnt be able to braindead dive the thing anywhere you want. As it stands, a brumbarr counters one of its hard counters, ATGs. I don't think it should buck the RPS method like that so much. |
All rocket arty is roughly equal with the exception of the Stuka. Their scatter increases considerably with range. The Katyusha and Calliope are just as deadly/wipey in a shotgun volley as the Panzerwerfer. And all three have equally terrible scatter at max range.
There is no bias or real difference here. Except for the Stuka, but the pinpoint accuracy on that one has the obvious drawback that it's also relatively easy to dodge with infantry. The Panzerwerfer only works well when used from more risky close to mid ranges. I suggest you try playing Axis so you can see for yourself their rocket arty performance is not as straightforward as it might seem from the other side, by eliminating confirmation bias. And probably start using your Calliope and Katyusha from closer ranges.

The tiger is a different tank in a different faction with a different economy. It's not 1=1 balance. The tiger has no capacity for Jackson support not dual BAR support. The tiger doesn't have self healing armour to support it. The Pershing doesn't fact allied TDs.
The Pershing loses in a slugging match with the tiger because it's SUPPOSED TO.
And in the end What the tiger is and can do is frankly irrelevant.
What matters is that the Pershing is balanced in its own faction for its own cost.
Usf tanks are specifically not intended to outlast enemy armour. The entire faction is built around this concept.
The Pershing is basicly a Panther with AI. Not a tiger of any strain.
The Pershing is a meaty tank for USF standards and is priced according. I WOULD like to see some ability that allows its mobility to be highlighted but frankly it's combat potential (especially with CA) is quite good its a reliable tank.
You cannot ignore the power spike that CA brings when balancing the Pershing.
And here we can see the mentality that has created the enviornment and situation for pershing. Balance team members and old timers, RE: axis mains, have decided that pershing is simply never supposed to beat a tiger, end of argument.
You wonder why pershing has never been good? Because the above comment is exactly how balance team sees it. Pershing isnt supposed to beat Kruppstahl!!11! You'll take your neutered """heavy tank""" and like it regardless, because its what you deserve when picking allies

keep everything the same and give it one less shot in HP to take. Retain the firepower so its still a great shock unit but make it more risky to use. if you want to bump some resources down a bit fine, but really I think thats all it needs. Its not the power that is the issue, one shots are flying all around the battlefield at that point in time. its really the fucking beefiness with it that throws the balance off.
You can make every mistake in the book, with the exception of reverse your ass into two ATGs, and still get out with your brummy intact and probably like 8-10 kills in just two shots with good target selection.

They come in incredibly early and are very good units, but if you see this (aka notice his lack of grens at the start, his PG bulletins) and you use any sort of early light vehicle it's gg. What's he gonna do? Spend 120 muni + 340 MP just for 2 shreks? Lack of faust is a big deal, ask brits. Converting them to Shrek squads defeats the point of why you went the build in the first place. Fight cheese with cheese I suppose.
I know way back in the day I experimented with Agrens. 2mgs, 1 pio 2 Agrens, Then into Pgrens. Two 222s were mandatory a long with littering the place with teller mines. Can it work? Yea it can but you rely on luck (mines) and you rely on not any of your 222's or you can't even face a Stuart equivalent.
I'm not sure if a UC, Jeep, or clown car can punish that set up much. Clown car with flamers probably the best bet right? but yeah, there really isnt much light vehicles can do that early. |
sounds like we need a new 3v3 map O.o
WHTIEFLASH PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. I WILL DONATE TO YOUR PATREON OR SOMTHING ANYTHING FOR ANOTHER ACTUAL 3v3 MAP LIKE RHINE AND NOT SOME 4v4 ADAPTATION.
