The problem is that some people fear the return of the unkillable panther but those times will never appear again. their was a time that the t-34 only did 80 damage a shot their was also a time that a p4 could kill the 85. the soviet medium armor has been buffed to the point that it represents a credible threat to heavy armor with proper flanking. now is the time that the panther once again fulfils it role as a tank destroyer. |

i keep seeing people mention the OKW flaktrack; how do you make it shoot the enemy? mine just shoots up the terrain.
Thats in my opinion the bigger issue. kubel doesn't need changing the okw flack track is in need of serious buffs. a functional FT would mean that both the m3 and the snipers are a lot less effective. |
How about you compare survivability as well, which makes it apparently OP according to your way of thinking?
Its the only non doctrinal tank hunter that doesn't explode when AT infantry thinks about it really hard or any armor gets within 40 range.
You want it to have as much punch as squishy TDs, strip its survivability.

Also its AT DPS is almost equal to easy8 and T34/85.

are you guys crazy. it beats the su-85, it the best medium tank in the game, its armor values make it so that it prevents pentration constantly like heavy tanks do.
oh yeh and it has a turret and blitz mode.

I think it's stats are fine, it has very good mobility and 50 range is great. but it isn't worth 175 and the feul for teching, it need to be cheaper it doesn't need a buff
Useful attributes but still not good enough. this uni was designed as a durability fighter hence the very low dps. but these days its durability is only decent. its need a major dps increase to make this uni worthwhile. even at 160 fuel i dont like this unit. remember most other dedicated td's have 50 % more dps then this unit. |

Oh it did. While the mg's of other nations where basically just support for the infantry the mg42/34 where the centerpiece of a infantry squad. if you compare the mg42 to the maxim , 50 cal or vickers the mg42/34 series did not only produce much more firepower but also was half the weight of the allied mg's. this made mg 42/34 much more mobile and able to support the german infantry. |
These units have a magnificent perfomance even at vet0. And yes, OKW are more expensive due to its better perfomance and possibility to reach vet5.
Puma, Jagdpanzer, Stuka, Panther, Sturmpio, etc, are in much better place at vet0 than their allied counterparts. Only volks are more or less equal to allied units, for that their price is cheaper, althought their vet is awesome and they scale very well due to its panzerschreck upgrade.
Seriously, after all arguments everyone is giving to you I don't understand how you can still defend that volks are underpowered.
straw men arguments. really pathetic. and you wonder why i keep on arguing. volks are not more or less equal to the allied mainline infantry. but i will simply agree to disagree for now. time will likely validate my arguments. |
