they are kind of op in the early game(had cons in green cover, they just rushed me and won), but get useless as the game progresses (when schocks, bars etc arrive) becouse they dont scale so good. You basically sacrifice lategame scaling for an early game punch ( assgren mg42 combo is very strong early).
All in all i think they are fine and balanced, just dont expect them to do anything vs upgrated or more vetted allied inf |
the easy 8 lacks a clear role, thats why its bad
why get such an expensive tank that gets hardcountered by pak spam, panthers jp4 and such, when you can get a sherman that gets countered the same way, but at least is able to kill infantry,
this tank lacks the pen to kill heavier threats, while also having not a good AI performace, trading it all for a little bit more health and more armor, which leaves it to its only role, to be able to somewhat slug it out with p4.

Still getting these lag spikes in-game. My internet is fine but the game sometimes freezes for 5 seconds, sometimes even almost 10 seconds. With or without connection lost -> reconnecting notification.
Never had this issue in the past but the last two weeks it's happening frequently. Very annoying. The games that are affected by the freezes are also the games where I have input lag. It's very strange though because it doesn't happen in every game. Only like 30% of games.

No snares can be bounced. But it doesn't matter because the engine crit works anyway no matter if they penetrate or not.
And as I said the difference between penetrating and not penetrating is 20 damage which is mostly irrelevant because of how HP works. (for medium and up it's always (usually?) 160 HP steps).
In case of T70 it would matter but it doesn't have enough armour to bounce snares anyway. T70 has 70 armour and all snares have at least 100 penetration.

if a snare bounces or not means a hell lot, a bounced snare does no engine DMG!

Snare range definetly is ridiculos, and should be changed.
However if i recall corectly the pen and dmg used to be inferiour to other snares.
While i think dmg got normalized i feel that if they nerf the range they should also do the same pen as rifle snare.

You will have enough fuel long before you'll reach CPs.
11 cp isnt that late espacielly in 1vs1 ,with a lot of back and forth, command panther used to be 10, and could be techbypassed quite easily

the problem with this is that usf kind of needs the pak howi cheese to stay viable on certain maps, with worse pak howi it will just suck on maps like rails and metal and such, double mg + sniper (for example) will have no effective punishment. Its kind of the same with the Jackson one needs to be carefull about nerfs ( they certainly are very strong but are a needed element in the faction)
This is kind of the same with zis gun barrage.
Pak howi certainly requires more micro these days, autofire isnt worth it so much.
When i play ostheer i mostly have no problem with a pak howitzer wiping my sqads as long as there is only 1, the last change certainly made them less wipey, becouse they deal only a lot of hp dmg, so when i loose a sqad its mostly due to misplay.
However when the usf player gets 2 pak howitzers stuff start off to get really cancerous becouse one deals the hp dmg and another one wipes it.
I could definetly get used to a cost increase + higher aim time on autofire, but barrage needs to remain strong
