so you woudnt mind pctac be replaced by stuka smoke drop? becouse that uses planning an assoult beforehand and executing it, insted of just pressing the button

balancing 60 range TDs around Ptac is stupid, the same way Ptac shoudnt be balanced around 60 range TDs.
The ability is just a cheap get out of Jail card if an is2 goes head to head into an Elefant, he gets stun shotted and killed (like it should), if a tiger goes head to head into 2 Su 85 he can just pop Panzertac and get away.
Both players did a big tactical error, but one got punished another didnt, this simply doesnt reward the player who played better.
Saying Ptac is doctrinal isnt an argument whatsoever, cons PTRS was doctrinal (in only one commander) and used to kill mgs frontally and it got toned down...

ye basically all smoke that can be popped instantly, this would affect puma panzer tactitian and aec (not okw flak truck) |
The instant smoke cannisters on vehicles is just stupid (except okw flak truck). It easily is a free get out of jail free card for most vehicles. I would suggest having a wind up time of 2-5 sec before the vehicle gets enveloped in smoke. |
when i play allies i face double tiger all the time, either okw or OH both always go tiger, forces me into is2 or Pershing (since i loose otherwise), this just makes this game boring
if you dont go for a heavy you basically just loose becouse the tiger/is2/Pershing can easily wipe your inf in some lucky shots (which always happen after some time)
played 7 games today which all had 1 or 2 tigers won most of them but still having an tiger/is2/Pershing slugfest gets boring after some time
i suggest upping the CPs to 12/13 as they were before, since you basically always have 12 /13 cp when you have the resources to call in tiger/is2/Pershing if you build a medium beforehand |
This always bug me about their gun range.
IS2 starts with 12% less range, i assume is to balance between its 25% better front-half armor. But both vetted, IS2 gun range become as good as Tiger while maintaining its 25% better armor.
Oversight?
Beside IS2 got a small helpful change. From not so useful capture point to an offensive ability. While stug users have been crying about useless twp to no avail
3 Jacksons..., its not like an is2 can get away vs 3 stugs or jp4 or 2 panthers

The problem snowballs in 2v2's, especially if your teammate decides that they are going to use your healing. It can be really annoying to see your teammate camped in your base waiting for his squads to heal while losing the map. I run into the same problem playing OKW so this isn't unique to Soviets.
But at least okw doesnt have to pay 250 mp for the heal, i would happily pay as soviet 125mp and 15 fuel instead, plust okw/ost have smaller sqad sizes and other (not as effective) sources of heal |
i feel like soviet healing is not adding up to be honest its very expensive in manpower often resulting in map loss, and isnt very great either
I would suggest increasing the medics from 3 to 4-5 to make up for the larger sqads |
since the latest changes to altillery, priest vet 1 ability doesnt work properly anymore, it keeps on saying it can shoot in 0 sec but it doesnt. Something is very odd with the timers |
