the problem is not the t3485. It has been fine for some years now, the problem is the heavy tank meta which absolutly shuts it down, thats why it doenst work as good (or is played as often). |
GOD is very strong becouse all factions heavy timing is just flat out op.. but thats another story, if you merge 5 men gren with g43 it will kill german inf and further buff lightning war,
if you merge mp40 with stg it will further kill firestorm and buff GOD
if you merge ppsh and svt ( becouse svt is just better) you will kill airborne doc.
you see where im going?
stop trying to steal evrything that makes a commander unique in order to create the "super commander" of your liking. Or is this what you want?
I wont even start about the bias in your changes buffing axis weapon upgrates, while keeping allied ones the same ( giving soviets even more bugdet schock troops aint no buff) |
Dont merge 5 men grens with g43, thats the only reason to go for german infantry in the first place. Otherwise you can go 5 men grens into tiger.
Its like removing ppsh cons and replacing it all with svts, just unecessary buff which a) kills a commander and
B) creates even stronger other commanderr
Commanders are suposed to have tradeoffs, if they dont they become to dominant in the meta

Why not remove stug then and replace it with jp4, while your there you can also replace grens with volks... |
i think the bug is a problem due to the vet bonus which gives faster ability reload, it used to be split since beta and there was no problem |
no the nerf they gave it is that if you dont cancel the barrage and do the full one it takes longer to shoot again then beforehand (by a significant amount espacially with vet)
but doing near the full barrage is the selling point of howitzers, becouse the lack of instant effect non doc rocket arty has (which is non doc and arty sacrifices heavy tanks for example). Doing full barrage and area denial; stationary target barrage; is kind of the selling point of howis. Otherwise they are just inferior to rocket arty in evry perspective which cant be dropped by certain commanders by just clicking button.
(Not that i have a problem with it, but that is another reason that makes them unnatraktive) |

while I understand the recent Patch adressing howitzers, increasing their cooldown (becouse they would basically fire all the time). I feel like thier not worth it now becouse
1. Popcap Howitzers eat up 15 pop cap of you army making you able to fieldless units and having less game impakt(due to higher reload)#
2. Hardcounters by commanders .. recon plus stuka or mortar flare + bombing hardcounter those staic emplacements.
3. The lack of heavy tanks, you basically sacrifice other tools in order to have a howitzer so a direct comparison to non doc arty is misleading( becouse one can have tiger/is2 and kata/ werfer)
4. Some bugs which still havent been fixed ( like the 0sec cooldown). This seems to be a problem with vet also vet 1 priest barrage also seems broken.
I would suggest reducing the pop cap of the unit to 10/11/12, in order to make it possible to field some extra units. Its not the howitzer is cheap and if you have 15 pop sitting there doing nothing/ waiting for the hardcounter, while you have less units to coutner a heavy threat it seems unatracktive to even go that commander in the first place |
how about removing the nerfs of the unit (keeping the dmg acc change), and locking bolster after tank tech?
if 5 men is the problem 5 men should be adressed and done as a lategame upgrate, not by making 4 men useless |
i also play wher on a regular basis, but i dont use the cheese button, while i can understand it on 222, it kind of gets stupid when a tiger ace vet 3 gets away just becouse of it, and the terrible RNG that attack ground is |
