Because managing to fuck up so a p4 or puma is in range of your 60 range highly mobile TD shiuld be punished. Kinda like it is for every single other TD in the game, y'know, the ones that don't have all the advantages the Jackson has but also have a weakness to exploit so if you are bad you will lose it. If you can keep it out of range (like you should) it shouldn't be an issue. In: COH2 Balance

Also again, if memory serves their pen is quite high end for an allied medium tank. It's neither squishy nor weak against tanks. It's simply not a Jackson so it SEEMS weak against tanks (it's not guaranteed to pen at 60 range) it's a brawler and one of the best at that. In: COH2 Balance

Have an aura that increases LOS of nearby units and an ability to increase the target size of enemy units (targeted) Could look about shared vet on it and Makin it spicy that way as well. But tbh I don't think any drastic buffs are needed, just have this tank not have the single worst reload time of any medium or premium medium tank in the game. Made up for by having incredible literally every other stat. Compare to say the t34/85 and see how much bang it gets for its buck. The only issue is its doctrine offers 4 kinda meh abilities that could be merged around a bit. Another thread, possibly made by someone who isn't a biased ass to discuss the commander might yield better discussion In: COH2 Balance

Just remember, in 4 v 4s Jacksons are much more likely to face panther spams and have to flank Elephants and JTs almost every game. Could you kindly run the numbers on how dropping the armour literally any value whatsoever will effect the ttk when being shot at by panthers, elefants, Jagdtigers, jagdpanther, paks and Shreks?. The only change it will effect is panzer4s and pumas realistically. All the other units ALREADY pen it with ease to the point you could lower the armour to 1 and these units chance to pen would be unchanged. If you sre going to whine at least try having numbers support it. In: COH2 Balance

Poll is trash not looking for a proper discussion. E8 is pretty well fine. But usf has no need for a brawler unit because they have a sniper that can also fight fisty cuffs. Later heavies is good imo, the tuning of 7man is good, uhu is a good direction and I'm happy to see some thought being out into the sturmtiger The Tommie changes are shit though and imo shows they don't know what they are supposed to be. The problem with them isn't their mobility it's their shit performance even when stationary. The smoke barrage is nice I like that and I'm glad to see ass Tommies getting their own vet instead of being an upgrade but again, the Tommie moving accuracy change is as out of touch as the 5fu nerf the Jackson got. It's a paper change that effectively will do nothing at all but be something to point to and say "look we tried". The other changes are good tho imo. Or interesting at least. In: COH2 Balance

If it were nerfed, what would they need to change about USF to compensate? To be honest we don't know specifically because they Jackson is the be all end all of AT. But there are options. Sherman AP could be tuned slightly, I think if officers got elite zooks that could really help. But realistically usf has great options in most of their commanders that never see the light of day due to the Jackson. It overshadows literally everything so we don't know exactly how the faction would work without it being as strong. The tools are there we just don't know exactly how they need to be tweaked.
