I only suggest divorcing the omnipotent shells into separate, specialized shells because with 1 shell the Jacky boy really is king of the TDs the the point in sure even firstpersonshooterman can get milage out of it. HVAP is a bonus instead of a scaling tool as the Jackson already hits like a truck accurately and pens often. Ontop of all of its other traits to aid its survival and account for it being squishy, without it actually being squishy. It's the combination that makes it hard to balance, like the old isu to an extent. Separate its easier. If it's still over performing against mediums but fine against heavies? Change the medium shell. That's all it takes. It's cleaner and much easier without actually risking ruining the unit. And also opens up more reason to mix and mingle armour if the enemy composition is also mixed. Might see some m10s along side jacksons just so the heavy hitter is always there, of one of the 18 sherman variants the Jackson completely overshadows. I think it would be healthier for the game than the abomination we have now

Death crits were bad business especially if they rolled time and time again for sure. My favorite was the Katy hit by the sturmtiger that got a broken gun. Gold.

Absolutely 100% agree. This is also the reason why Guards' snare was removed.

Haha yea I remember the camoing good at all ranges, slef healing good on the move guards! That WAS exactly like this! Right down to the 110mu for the first snare! Glad you brought that up else it would have been like it never happened!

I think the biggest issue is HVAP. it should be a toggle shell like the sherman HE (who, imo should be a timed shell) with distinct attributes specializing in heavy or medium armour with the opposite being vulnerable. There isn't necessarily an issue with one unit doing multiple jobs, the issue lies in doing them at the same time and with the most effectiveness of any, and also having literally any other trait you could possibly want piled into the same vehicle.... Separate modes for heavy and medium armour imo is the most basic route we could take for aligning the Jackson to a standard of balance without neutering the USF's ability to fight armour.

people picked falls doc, it did horrible in the tournament and I don't see it in quick match at least as Soviet , so can we have some replay or something ? Maybe some test ?

And again, a well rounded doc > an OP unit in a meh doc. To use the same example as before, how often did you see Soviet defensive tactics when the DSHK was a monster? Doesn't mean the unit wasn't incredibly strong, it mean that the power of the unit, despite its insane value, wasn't enough to overcome the draw of having 5 good things to draw someone to the commander.

Falls being op and the fall doctrine not being great are not mutually exclusive. I like falls as a unit (not their current over tuned version so much) but they are over powered. But that doesn't mean the commander is. If I can get penals with a snare and a their SVTs and a Tiger that can call in arty... Well yea... Imma do that cause it's much more rounded and takes away factional weaknesses.
