The mortar was added before the tech change and there is little reason for it be a T0 any more. USF has tools to clear buildings without the mortar. In: COH2 Balance

They have better aggressive option than Ostheer and almost as good defensive option. USF MHT is superior to Ostheer for no apparent reason, it even got buffed in timed delayed round. Imo one could try moving mortar to captain. That would make Captain more attractive and bring LV play closer to OKW. Pack howitzer could then be moved to major replacing the Scott which way to powerful and could become a doctrinal unit. In: COH2 Balance

Panthers are fast and have range. They've got the means to face their front armour towards the enemy. Not really, the current rear make them really bad at flanking because they expose the side allowing rear armor hits. And the front armor values of the Panther make little difference vs M36/SU-85. By keeping the frontal armor lower at 240/264, it actually gives higher probability for allies med tanks to pen/deflect damages than now, and more than panther vs IS2 i believe! Please no more AI buff. Lets keep the theme of mobile td. I think heavy crush was nerfed so it aint that bad. Previously we had super crusher jackson which is so cheesy. And 0.55 is not superb moving acc, just 10% better than FF and su85, which both got damage pen vets Heavy crush and crush humans are to different values with different affects. Ironically enough, pretty much all dual role units are soviet units. They should not excel at that role to not overstep on the specialist units field, but they most certainly should perform up to the cost. You are entitled to your opinion but pls do not state as a fact. Not all dual roles units are Soviets, hardly. Ostwind has a dual role of AI and AA. And they do not, actually they can prove problematic even they are average in both roles if the like the M-42. (disagreeing with my every post is non constrictive, try giving it rest. Have you decided if the Sherman is the most cost efficient medium yet? ) In: COH2 Balance

As far as I know you can not have different buff for front and rear armor. On can simply have the Panther with higher rear armor to begin with. Literally one of the worst designed units of the games history. Good riddence to dual roles imo. Imo it has more to do with implementation and not principal. Unit could have dual roles but they should not be good at both roles in most cases. In: COH2 Balance

It's a Tactical trade off. Dislodging an mg42 crewed by ostroppen near a reinforcement point (bunker or HT) is prime with yakety sax playing in the background. Pios are better for an unsupported (or self supporting?) MG, holding a flank or whatever but one suffering attrition constantly ostroppen are where it's at. yes they do but they have target size of 1 and better vision. ostroppen is better at capturing weapon on the battlefield where there is risk losing the squad not weapon dropped in your base. In best situation you have 1 Osttrupp (200 mp) -> you use the ability (450 mp) -> now crew them and fill refresh the Osttrupp and make the weapon-crew be 4 men (8*16 mp = 128mp).... This another noob trap. There is actually little reason to crew weapon with OStruppen. You get a HMG with a crew the same target as any hmg and Pak with a worse crew. Pioneer are far better for crewing weapons. In: COH2 Balance

Since Su-76 get extra damage it has is AOE damaged improved. In addition the Su-76 has AOE radius of 6 which is quite big. Finally I can't remember any unit that get AOE radius us a vet bonus.
