Stormjäger The 222 has the same gun as the Luchs, so there’s no way they’ll make it a LV counter. The 222 uses a completely different gun than Luch in game, with completely different properties and mechanisms. And increase the power level of the 222 should focus more on the durability of the vehicle and not its DPS. It should serve as a very soft counter not a hard counter. The idea is to make ostheer less vulnerable to LVs not to make them dominate LV play. In: COH2 Gameplay

I think some kind of AT package for Pioneers would be a very positive change, something locked out by flamethrowers but not mine sweepers. Perhaps they could carry nerfed (with lower accuracy, pen, damage) panzeshreks or stolen PTRS rifles. I would rather have the 221 back as a soft counter to car and 222 of higher power level. This is a rather ridiculous proposal, Make the unit more expensive and reduce the characteristics. No, Maxim should cost as much as machine guns of other factions and have similar performance for the same price. That would only make be "balanced" if countering hmgs was equally easy for all factions. It is not. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The recent Infantry Sections nerf11 Dec 2019, 14:10 PM Its plain and simply: Either Axis get "free" stuff but allies also get free stuff or All the stuff have a tech cost attached to it Main difference here is that allies have a more flexible tech tree that allows them to choose when to unlock something while axis unlock stuff in bulk (regardless if they are going to use them or not) for a discount. The argument that axis have an advantage because they the only one getting "free" staff simply does not hold much water and it should not be used any more. In: COH2 Balance

The weapon half-truck only creates problems, there is very little reason to be able to drop weapons on the ground. Simply remove it. Medics repair station and point denail included with tech. No extra cost no upgrading needed just tech. Now of course the dont just get them. Usf crews medic and retreat point at least require micro and are quite vunerable so their is higher risk involved, this balances out the benefits mostly. Something okw did not have to worry about mostly if at all. Free might not be the right term for axis upgrades. But they do pretty much get a bargain. Its all included. You get your upgrade with natural tech, you will always get acces to them. It does not delay tech however slightly that may be. You also get abilities such as riflenade inc nade next to new units. So the stg,s for volks not being as strong as 2 bars seems fair. You can think of it another way, Allies can choose what they want to unlock and when. To argue that Axis tech tree is superior because you buy "bundle" of stuff is simplistic to the point of begin dead wrong. In: COH2 Balance

Generally speaking Vet 1 abilities could re-balanced to scale with veterancy and avoid spikes in performance. I guess one could even move some of them to Vet 0. In the particular case of the Maxim one could have it work a bit differently by removing the time limitation. One would have to reload but the use "full nine yards" in the next engagement. The ability would also cancel if one moved. That would increase maxim performance on defensive position without effecting the "moving" performance. In: COH2 Balance
