Suggestion for bren carrier:

Wasp:
Reduce the cost Wasp upgrade (upgrade comes to late to pay for itself)

Wasp now immune to engine damage critical (wasp needs to close is to fire and many times that means engine damage)

Remove DOT fire damage move to an ability maybe increase the range of the ability.

Delay 222 increase power level of unit
Reintroduce 221 designed as a counter to car relatively low DPS but high enough penetration to counter them

Yeah? Then add up the fuel tech costs of all factions.

UKF full tech: 30 (T1)+15 (AEC)+35 (Bolster)+15 (Racks)+10 (Grenade)+115 (T3)+ 50 (Hammer/Anvil) = 270 Fuel

Ost full tech: 40 BP1 + 90 BP2 +25 BP3 +10 T1+20 T2+15 T3 +25 T4 = 225 Fuel

OKW full tech: 40 T1 + 60 T2 + 135 T3 + 10 Heal +15 repair station = 260 Fuel

Soviet full tech: 10 T1 + 15 T2 + 85 T3 + 90 T4 + 10 Snare +10 Molo = 220 Fuel

USF full tech: 55 LT +55 CPT +120 Major + 15 racks + 15 grenade +10 ambulance = 270 fuel

Full fuel tech cost mean little without MP cost also and starting resources.

It mean even less when some faction do full tech and others do not.

The problem with OST is that T3 and T4 is not good?
I hope that very soon the OST will be buffata. I don't find it right that a faction remains like this.

Unfortunately I have to repeat it once more. It simply does not work that way.

If every time a faction is "UP" it gets buffed than all the faction will simply take turns being buffed continuously. And that end up with sorter reaction times and more snowball effects.

It is time for nerfs not buffs.

You're correct in that it's possible to make the G43 upgrade give IR StGs to Stormtroopers. But it'd be a weird unintuitive exception to how that ability works.

Stormtroopers were redesigned into CQC ambush units because, as you pointed out, Ostheer already have a midrange assault unit: Panzergrenadiers. Stormtroopers are meant to equip the free MP40s.

But that design is still problematic, 4 men expensive CQC is problematic due to DPS drop off when losing entities. Moving most DPS to 2 weapon would probably work better (similar to Vamp). I am not actually suggesting that they should get Vamp ST44.

Unit is designed more about fight power less about utility.

For instance they could easily provide extra LOS and have less DPS but able to upgrade to 5 men.

Received accuracy bonus in cover is pretty bad especially since it is not effected by the "point blank" mechanism.

Imo there are a couple of thing that should change that would allow IS to be balanced better.

1) Reduce close (range 0) DPS of bolt action rifles (maybe about 15%-20) so that closing the distance with no bolt action infatry becomes more rewarding. (or even make the weapon profile flat from 5-10 range)

Currently IS (and other infantry) can inflict enough damage to win point blank fights or cause causalities and simply retreat when enemy units close in. Crossing open ground attack should not be encouraged but CQC fight should be less rewarding for bolt action troops.

2) Replace the cover RA bonus with a normal RA bonus

3) Move sandbag/trenches (trenches could go back to have cost and and be "password" protected but could also be allow to be "captured" and/or dismantled thus spamming trenches for future use will not be viable) to Ro.E.

Part of the reason why IS are so powerful is that they can cap a point on their own and then defend for along time behind green cover and heal requiring the enemy to attack in numbers to dislodge a singe IS, while taking loses in the processes and IS simply retreating.
