Being able to call down smoke and artillery is more than enough for 40mun, but I dont see why a section blob should still be able to reveal HMGs from super far away now simply by letting the vet 1 pyrotech section stand behind cover for 3 sec I agree with that and I think is part of problem with IS since adding Pyro/healing on them is non brainier decision. But I have a different suggestions: Pyro now increases squad size to 5 (without bolster) add 1-2 scoped Enfiled increasing far DPS lowering close and take up all weapons slots. Could add some ability maybe vs snipers or infatry detection. Medic now increases squad size to 5 (without bolster) tuns one of the entities to medic and take up a weapon slot. Now Pyro/Medic are not upgrades for all squads since the come with limitations. In: Lobby

Its like saying infantry is bad, because HMGs suppress them. This theory holds little water, units performance is also related to its counter. If one increases the penetration of the Panther to 312/299/286 IS-2 will probably become UP. In: COH2 Gameplay

Suggestion: Rename ability to "Infrared package" allow Panthers to upgrade with IR scopes. Add bonuses to Infrared equipped units when operating with IR HT. Maybe allow some other units to upgrade with IR weapon adjusting performance accordingly. In: Lobby

Then, everyone complained so they got buffed. Not really. The problem was only in large modes, they come too late and where decimated by vetted TDs. Greyhound being prime example, but so is KV-8. You'd have these units come way too early or way too late otherwise, which would lead to another spiral of buffs/nerfs/attempts to fit them in. Apples and oranges. Greyhound is call-in unit and KV-8 is a unit build from T4 and thus already tied to tech. In: COH2 Balance
