Snipers have 45 sight range while Pyro Sections have 42 sight range.
Snipers with veterancy permanently have 54 sight range, Pyro Sections with veterancy have 52 sight range and only in cover.
Thanks for providing the stats:
Some notes
Sniper start at 45 sight and get 1.2 bonus at vet 1, UKF sniper seems to get+10 for 55.
IS get +10 bonus in cover at vet 1 Pyro gives 7.
CP
CP sound good, require all buildings for Tiger would make it overlap with KT and have the the downside of not becoming available if the T4 is destroyed.
All tech buildings
Requirement of building being on map should be removed imo and if it need extra tech cost add unlocking medic/mechanics or a separated tech as explained in other threads.
AOE
The AI of the unit probably need toning down.
Synergy
Another aspect of the unit is the Commander upgrade. I had razed my concern for this ability when it was buffed but it seemed to create little issues in the elite commander. Imo it diffidently problematic with Tiger. The upgrade imo should either not be available to the Tiger (maybe use the Tiger ACE model) or it should be removed from the commander.
Command Tank aspect
I think that it is safe to say that in the "command" aspect the vehicle has failed (did the ability get used even once in the tournament?)
So imo either it should be properly implement or removed.
G43 on PG is problematic (but not for other units) and I am not sure why there has been so much effort to implement it especially since the ability is not called "g43 upgrade" and could provide other bonuses.
In the end of the day if g43 are a must, simply make the upgrade to provide an extra entity and 5 g43 and redesign the weapon to be closer to Garrand.
...
The Easy 8 was much better a couple years ago then they nerfed its scatter in one of the patches back in 2017 or early 2018.
They don't necessarily have to improve the scatter, they could give it WP rounds as an alternate ammunition type.
They did not nerfed its scatter they actually give it one since it had none...
M4A3 76mm ‘Easy-Eight’
The Easy-Eight will still have lower moving scatter than most other tanks; previously the E8 had no scatter penalties for moving.
i dont know sir, maybe some stuff should be doctrinal right?
PG and Tiger are not an issue neither are KT and obers/Falls or Churchill and commandos.
Imo G43 and Tiger is an issue and so are IS-2/KV-2/ISU-152 and shock/guards.
Doctrinal super heavies tanks should not have doctrinal elite infatry support. Commander should either provide Super heavy vehicles or elite infatry. Then both the elite infatry and Super heavies become easier to balance.
Pyro upgrade come with increase sight range itself is fine, it just become too much when combine with increase sight range from vet 1. But anyway, it require the squad to be in cover so as i see, it require actual miro and positioning.
It ok for a couple of squad but the medic change allows it become available to every squad and that can be problematic.
If one follows the patches to M36 one can see how the problem was created:
M36 Jackson
M36 Jackson
M36 Jackson
A unit designed to hit hard and slow only if it manged to penetrate now hits less hard but all the time:
A unit that started with 160 /180 /200 AP 220/250/280 ended up with 220/240/260 AP 250/280/300.
It also kept it vet bonus so at vet bonus penetration for 286/312/338 AP 325/364/390.
Note that normal fire at vet 3 currently has more penetration and ROF than the HVAP used to have.
In addition it kept its high accuracy, its accuracy bonus and moving accuracy modifiers.
When it comes to survive ability it had acceleration increased and kept it even when it has its HP increased.
The combination of the boost to base stats and high veterancy bonus simply make the unit OP. Reverting some of this changes or lowering the change to do damage can fix the problem without causing issue to USF.
