Conscripts have a lot more EHP than grenadiers, but still have only a 50/50 chance of winning engagements. That is because an engagement is decided by both EHP and DPS. On the other hand the differences number of entities is balance by the difference in target size. Grenadiers 351 EHP Conscripts 440 EHP It is far more misleading to take into account only target and completely ignoring number of entities. Jump back to quoted post30 Oct 2020, 12:45 PMAerohank Likewise, Commandos are a lot more squishy than Obers, despite having more 'EHP', because most weapons do more damage up close, which is the range where Commandos need to go to do any damage, often having to abondon any cover bonus along the way. Obers on the other hand can hapily shoot from max range where they will take a lot less damage from enemy rifles and they don't have to move out of cover. Commandos are not shock troops they are ambush units and that is why they have camo and first strike bonuses. If one moves commanods in open field out of cover and out of camo one is simply doing something wrong. In: COH2 Gameplay

If it couldn't reinforce until t4 then there is lots to challenge it, additionally I don't think the suppression would be a huge issue as the maxim falls off around when t2 is built so this would allow a scaling suppression platform starting t3 and be more than just AA come t4. If it's on or near the front providing support it's better for the soviet, but also easier to dive which would be better for plane strikes I would only see this as an option if the quad suppression was removed or made a timed ability with a long CD. Once upon a time halftracks could continue to reinforce after being upgrade. This turned out to be a massive power spike and was axed. However I'm proposing a compromise--AFTER final techs are completed these units regain their ability to reinforce so that they can retain some value. For the soviet this might lead to seeing the quad as more than an emplacement, and for ost the hope is that once the flame has lost it window for micro ost can still use it to offset their small squad sizes should it survive. Quad being able to reinforce is tricky since the ability suppress 360 can easily lead to support weapon spam around it. Maybe allow an option un-upgrade? In: COH2 Balance

Though not as good as brits aoe moving healing wich i find op as hell. The 251 already has a far better time window shock value. The m5 has neiher. That simply an exaggeration. Unfortunately I have to explain to you the basic once more: EHP stand for effective hit points and it used in reference to total squad HPs since for entity comparison Target is enough. Ober have 4 entities of 80 HP each start with target size 0.7 and at vet 5 have a target size of 0.5. Their EHP are 457 are vet 0 and 640 at vet 5 Commandos have 5 start with target size 0.72 and at vet 3 have a target size of 0.65. Their EHP are 555 are vet 0 and g 615 at vet 3. Only Falls don't get as low rec acc for an infiltration squad, but then again, their weapons aren't exactly CQC exclusively oriented. I hate to have to point out this to you but fall stopped being an infiltration squad years ago and are now an airdropped squad. Try installing and loading the game it will help you improve your countless posts. The get -10% received accuracy ending up with decent target size of 0.65 and great EHP. Plus the smoke make them very difficult to wipe them out. In: COH2 Gameplay

For a single skill shot and (a bit far fetch) that can bounce off the kt (super slim chance vet 2 brummbar) its quite alot for 90 muni. I know its different but it makes me think of the ISUs concrete piercing round (which is underrated) that is 70 muni that is great against everything that no one uses. Its just a tad too expensive. Matching the ISU concrete round price (70 muni) and upping it pen would do because most armor will be to mobile with the only exception of crippled or heavy tanks. Lowering the mu price to 70 (possibly even 60)(for the 17p also) sounds reasonable. I See little reason for increasing penetration since it is inline with the one ISU has. In: COH2 Balance

It is probably a bit pricey (in line 17p's) but: 400/350/300 penetration 240 damage has world piercing I am not sure but it probably has extended range also. In: COH2 Balance
