Thread: Commandos need buff2 Aug 2019, 20:05 PM Jump back to quoted post2 Aug 2019, 20:02 PMJibberJabberJobber Stormtrooper MP40's have 18.69 close range dps and Commando Stens have 14,133 close range dps, so Storms are indeed better per model, but note that Commandos have an ambush bonus of 50% accuracy for 5 seconds, that will almost guarantee a win against any Axis squad when camo is used. They also have that passive sprint ability when breaking camo (or when entering combat?) iirc, so you have some flexibility with how you ambush In: COH2 Balance

Except as Loopdoop pointed out it's a disadvantage against explosives, so it's really not much of an advantage whatsoever I think the pak Howy is too strong, but i also think you're just wrong about it's survivability. That needs to be buffed back to 6 man an the nerfhammer needs to be brought down on a different aspect of the unit In: COH2 Balance

Even if Jackson had no trouble missing heavies its all pointless if they couldn't pen it from the front, which is why they had 0.75 acc to encourage flanking however, against decent players this was difficult to rely on. I'm not missing any point, this still makes no sense. Even on the move while flanking, it's hard to miss heavy tanks. The moving acc. has nothing to do with needing to flank heavies, it wouldn't help that at all It had 480 health back then, you weren't supposed to flank with it. That's what m10s are for And idk why you say USF vehicles "had" .75 modifier. All of them still have it, it's the British vehicles that have had it removed In: COH2 Balance

Much better at AT then it is at AI It has 10 less pen at max range than a ZiS gun, and better pen at close. Calling that an AT unit is far from a stretch In: COH2 Balance

You may ignoranly say 240 damage as 3 x 80 = 240. This is incorrect. It haveing 5 models means that it has 5 models to spread out its damage opposed to the 4 of an LEIG. This means, in theory a Pack can take 378 damage before decrew whereas a 4 model team can take 319. While this of course assumes a perfect distribution of damage, 5 models can spread out than 4. While you may agure the RA counters this, you are now incorrect in saying that "leig18 is more fragile is entirely inaccurate" You are ignoring/forgetting that the pak Howy decrews when the 3rd man dies, unlike leig and all other mortars which de-crew when the 2nd man dies This is the main reason why nerfing it from 6 to 5 man crew was a silly change. It should get 6 men back, and be nerfed in different ways In: COH2 Balance
