Thread: OKW Free Flares on new commander??4 Dec 2015, 19:38 PM Absolutely ridiculous that you just automatically get instant sight over anyone walking into your territory, with no cost, or micro. I really cannot understand what relic was thinking, because as usual, they weren't. By no means should it be free. People who are saying it should be free but require you to click the point really aren't saying anything at all. Adding the horrible task of requiring a mouse click on the point is not sufficient. The ability should absolutely cost them something, especially since they just got their income leveled to everyone elses. With that new change in mind, there is zero argument for these things to be free. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: British mortar2 Dec 2015, 00:57 AM Its a 400mp structure that only does one thing. Schewer HQs are harder to kill and they're "free" since you're paying for the tech (although thats kind of getting factored in now). For the OKW, all you need to do is barrage it straight to hell with a support gun (since it outranges the pit) or get a walking stuka. Once you get it to Brace with something less scary, wait for brace to end and then stuka barrage it and should be close to dead if not gone. The fact that a single volks flame-nade will almost kill a mortar emplacement tells me that its "advantages" are not sufficient to warrant the nerfhammer. Removing Brace is almost certainly a bad idea IMO. Far too many offmaps would be able to 1-shot mortar emplacements, and 400mp is a little much to be reliably hardcountered by off-maps. Thread: UKF will be hopeless with the new patch19 Nov 2015, 02:29 AM The only glimmer of hope left is the fact that its a balance preview, which means it's unlikely that all of these changes will remain exactly the same as they are now. There were a few changes in the last balance preview that were altered when the actual patch was dropped. In: COH2 Balance

But the cp requirements for the Eastern front commanders are still in the scale that they were ages ago.
