From what I understand it was supposed to balance out the fact that they could choose to boost fuel/muni at the expense of the other in addition to the fact that they could salvage. Now they get regular amounts of both, but they still don't get to use caches? Are the gains from salvage really that OP? In: COH2 Gameplay

Then they nerfed penals to the ground at 270 mp loosing sprint later as well. Cons recieved durability buffs and their dps became consistant and closer to penals. Dude was blobbing like hell and I decided to let him have his fun for the first few minutes. Didn't even build MGs. Then the next time his blob showed up I ran over it with two M10s and instantly killed like half the entire blob. He instantly surrendered and would not stop complaining about it. I'm gonna level with everyone in this thread: I can micro the shit out of tanks, but the rest of my army will die because I forget about them. It's almost like I don't have object permanence. If I'm trying to crush someone's troops, high command is not gonna hear that you've got a grenade landing at your feet. In: COH2 Balance

I would use the term "sidegrade". Nerf implies that there is no positive to having a burst damage nade instead of DoT, which I'm sure you will agree is not the case. Of course, not being able to deal with garrisoned HMGs as easily is a negative. A strength balanced out by a weakness; a sidegrade. In: COH2 Balance
