But from my point of view it could be cool to start with an ITA campaign on axis side and switch to the allied side during the camp progress.

But the German player can send Fallschirmjäger to put you back on their side.

To be honest they could do a lot of cool stuff. Ita Theater with ita, ger, Commonwealth and US/brasilian army, Balkans or hungary with a possible addon soviets 2.0.

It is up to Relic. Cant wait for news ^^

Greek and Brazilian army in CoH2 after playing years with a max of 5 factions and neither Italy nor France being added :snfPeter: . Would be weird, but okay.

To be serious though, IF (big IF actually) it should really be a new faction, I wonder how committed Relic will be to create new and "fresh" commanders. If they get too creative we might be back to post WFA and post UKF release of gameplay.
We have seen a lot of standardization in the last years of patches and Relic was okay with that. Adding a new multiplayer faction would be a big commitment especially with much of the original CoH2 staff gone.

I think the easiest would be to just add a new campaign. But we'll see in not long from now what the mysterious announcement will be.

They don’t need to add factions for each nation, they just need a “Commonwealth” faction with an expanded commander system where you can pick different nation commanders (NZ, Brazilian, Free French, Greek, Aussie, Canadian, etc) which gives you a bunch of units.

i hope the engine is more advanced upgraded. AOE got quite some flak for looking too basic and cartoony.

perhaps coh3 is on UE5 ?

off my head, hope to see
front middle and rear armor now.
all objects needs to be destructible within realm of physics and provides cover.
body armor makes a return.

basically the more variables the better

Thats my point.
Free french, brasilian forces, polish troops, canadians, indians, south africans - they have a lot of toys and visual stuff for cool callin/buildable/what ever coh3 will do units and abilities.

If it's COH3 I hope they've taken into account all the in depth/sensible information, reminders, requests provided via the survey and in general over the years on what has made this franchise great and to not jeopardise it. In terms of visual-audio feedback, game mechanics, balance, content at launch, authenticity & fun.
