Its not like there is an alternative you know. When maxim was close to useless it still was being spammed, because cons were even more useless and penals still without rework were not worth it at all. Just because a unit is being used doesn't mean its good. And there is plenty of units, especially in sov and ost rosters that thanks to useless pos vet1 ability might have just as well only 2 vet stars. In: COH2 Balance

Same goes for 222 rear armor. I am going to assume skill level higher then yours and opponents actually not leaving them idle and forgetting about them. Any non crippled LV dying to any small arms that isn't HMG42 inc rounds(and maybe DSHK AP rounds) is L2P issue. In: COH2 Balance

Hell, even M3? You bring no AT skill/weapon and anything larger then Kubel will not die if you choose to rely only only on your rifles. "but it caan finish eet offf ketetooooooof!" Another is stugIII should have the option of swapping with HE or AP ammo to make it more versatile unit like USF M4 But StuG3 is a TD. You already have AI specialist and generalist in the tier and that would step on both of these roles, creating a superior vehicle. In: Lobby

Most here talking the effect of t70 and flame ht early game before first medium tanks start rolling to the field. Yes you can get shrecks with pgren, but you can forget flame HT then or you can put tellers. It's always a choice with OST as it's so heavy in munitions use. By the time T70 arrives, you can have both. Just don't spam LMGs. Ost doesn't have it any harder on muni front then brits, USF or even soviets nowadays(now that every single ability exvept for mine costs more and guards were always ammo hogs). Yeah, you can't have it all in early game - no one except OKW can. Point is, you DO have options for a follow up if the mine did 380 instead of 400. Even 222 can finish off T-70 like that.
