Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

In soviet case, early game is meh at best without elite infantry or doctrinal upgrades. Mid T3 game keeps getting gutted. So yeah, in conclusion player should rush to them, because all the other options keep having their knees broken. Should tech just be used only as time factor (similar to CP) or should the player be given choice how to design his strategy with his decision making on tech choices? Tech was always a time factor. This is no traditional RTS game with super expensive/long to research tech and ability to just mass and roll over opponent with early game units instead. In: Lobby |

There's an alternative to "hit or miss, penetrate or not" of Company of Heroes and "always hit for damage minus resistances" of many other games. That's just multiple resistances... Its perfectly fine in 2v2. In fact, I don't believe any faction is OP or UP in 2s specifically, scale is small enough to keep their individual faction strengths and presence of ally with different faction covers up for the weaknesses. The only real weakness of wehr in 2s is the same as in 1s, light tank vulnerability, but OKW fixes that with its puma. In: COH2 Balance |
