Thread: Teching and call ins. 4 Jun 2014, 20:49 PM Alright its time to nerf the soviets to oblivion! Just kidding through the proposed change will affect the soviets somewhat more. The current problem is that unless you take a doctrine with a medium or heavy tank you basically putting yourself in a major disadvantage as the opponent simply forgo tech for call ins. its makes a lot of fun doctrines worthless and rewards bad play. So the suggestion is make medium tank and heavy tanks only available if the germans tech to tier 3 and the soviets either build their tier 3 or 4. In: COH2 Balance

Other than that S-mines are fine. to be honest i wouldn't mind if they created a single segment ability. what is the use a of a minefield when you need to lay mines at a choke point? How is it bullshit? he is correct you know. the soviets can get their counter out before the sc arrive. germans have to wait 5 min before they finally get a sc out to counter the m3. it gives the soviets a rather huge and unnecessary advantage. So too is minsk. Ugh they just need to reduce the fuel cost of phase 2 by 20 and increase fuel cost for phase 3 by 20. both the problems with the maxims and the m3 are then solved without nerfing them. While PG might be underperforming, they definately aren't useless. If PG is buffed, so should PPSH be buffed abit because right now the PPSH does barely any damage at ranges more than 8 meters. While the MP 40 is still pretty decent at 12-15 meters... As AI they are under performing. and on maps where paks are have less effect like stalinggrad i usually keep 1 pg and wait for the tank to arrive. this way i have invested 340 mp in AI and can switch it when i need to. As i said before vonivan while a brilliant player knew that the m3 spam was coming. this already gives him an advantage. second part his strategy while solid is completely map dependent. semois is the ideal place for this strat as it offers plenty of green cover and the resource points are close to one another. m3 spam is either a complete nuisance or completely broken. depending on the map.
