Thread: Riflemen are too expensive.6 Feb 2019, 12:07 PM First of all i dont think riflemen are too expenisve. I do think that USA can struggle against okw in a certain matchup because of the initial MP advantage OKW has, but thats just the same if you go cons as soviet. You pay more to refresh your rifles because of the higher cqc potential/ scaling you have in comparison to the OKW/WHER player, that doesnt mean that you have to rush the opponent 24/7. Wher doesnt have the tools to push away rifles in green cover in the early game, making rifles on a cutoff a big pain for wher. OKW has the flame nades but has other flaws like no proper way of dealing with 50cals. Botton line is: If you want your riflemen to flank or cqc you should prepare for it by purchasing nades or Bars depending on the situation In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Pathfinders need a nerf don't they?29 Jan 2019, 18:03 PM i have no problem with those units per se, but i think double bar on them is a bad design, since it kind of negates their CQC weakness. The only problem i see with going double bar is the insane drop chance. They might need a reduction to 1 weapon slot, and a light vet buff to compensate In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The Shock rifle doctrine is really busting my chops.27 Jan 2019, 21:35 PM if it works for you fine, i usally go jäger inf for g43 and light alterie barrage against the paks, it is fairly cheap and forces them to move then you can push with p4 i would suggest planting tellers when you see a flamer, i would suggest a g43 commander not to battle the schocks but to push the paks, while the camo can be used for ambushes In: Ostheer Strategies

FHT can work because it basically forces the player into a pak and so reducing MP that could have gone into Schocks 3. T70 spam into call in is2 is tough to deal with (look at GCS2), i would suggest a double pak and p4 kombo if you face such things, having G43s and or tiger can also help, 4. If support weapons kill you a mortar is always a right choice but beware the loss of map presence. I think Sniper is not really worth it vs soviets you loose too much momentum. 5. Basically the best way to counter it is to disrupt it before he can build his entiere army, if he has 2 paks a maxim 2 cons and a schock T70 and an IS2 things get tough In: Ostheer Strategies

If you don't include the things that will kill it then yea its got no counter... if you loose an mg carrier to something else then a pak or a 222, you should start working at your micro…. its dps value very high for a no fuel vehicle to be honest, Edit: Forgot the mg42 explosive ammo, but you need vet 1 for that and its more or less difficult to pull off In: COH2 Balance
Thread: UKF(British) is underpower25 Jan 2019, 18:20 PM peaple forget that bren carrier has no counter as wher in the early game, exept 222 which gets countered by aec, which arrives quite fast too, brit inf sections winning evry 1v1 vs grens even more so with 5 men.. You cant just point out weaknesses and say a faction is UP In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Teller mines20 Jan 2019, 20:57 PM well have you ever seen what happens to a p4 when a mortar hit the friendly mine it is standing on? Let Luvnest tell you a story.. Teller mine is not triggered by infantry, why should they reduce the dmg against infantry exept it wasnt friendly fire, i was running towards a 222 with a bar rifle sqad, and the 222 shot at my rifles, resulting in a complete wipe of a 5 men sqad, i know its rare im basically asking for a QOL change In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Teller mines20 Jan 2019, 18:49 PM execpt it wasnt my own mine.. , just walked over it and one stray 222 shot killed my rifle, not saying this shoudnt happen with a tank round, but it seems a little much for a 222, espacially since teller never got inf dmg nerfed (like all other mines), it woudnt change a lot just stop this stupid RNG In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Teller mines20 Jan 2019, 18:32 PM the problem is with the fact that a heavy engine dmg would make it op against mediums/heavies the only way to fix this is to differentiate between lights and mediums/heavies on mines which is not the case now as far as i know. One should also fix the odd the odd behaviour when a 222 triggers the mine and wipes my inf sqad completly In: COH2 Balance
