Then you can upgrade to the €79,99 deluxe version for free. Saves you about 10 euros for all the deluxe edition bonusses and you can play it way early starting tomorrow the 9th at 14:00h CET. I was very sceptical during the beta but DICE has definitely shown a huge amount of progress and improvement over the last couple of weeks. I've done some tests but as far as I could tell, the damage cap is always there for the 30 muni mines. These mines triggered by vehicles or explosions seem to always kill a maximum of 2 models no matter how they detonate. Teller mines and Riegel mines however kill whatever is in the explosion radius. They have no damage cap. They can kill entire squads if they're clumped up. The M6 mines I'm not sure about, it either does have a cap or doesn't have enough power to kill more than two models. That’s been the justification for the Stuka at loiter being straight up better for years (which actually also synergizes well with okw flares too). Afaik the P47 strafe needs vision but German tanks usually get themselves spotted in the FOW by having their pintle mount firing at the aircraft, after which they automatically get targeted for the next strafe. Thread: Grenadiers + HMG42s vs USF7 Nov 2018, 09:43 AM Squad DPS yes, Riflemen have about 40,2 DPS close range with 1x BAR while Volks double STG have 29,1 DPS so about 133% (misguessed that number previously). Mid and long range are about equal but then Rifleman can go ahead and equip a second BAR. Anyway I've always supported a USF tech rebalance to fix the entire faction and a manpower reduction for Riflemen (with the saved MP going into weapon racks tech) to help their early game. But otherwise Riflemen are fine as they are right now. In: COH2 Balance

However it is going to make your riflemen cost argument way less valid because USF has a huge manpower advantage with the free officer squad. That's largely offset by OKW having to pay more fuel in total to get a medium tank out. Anyway the fact that it's quite balanced is exactly my point. USF suffers from bad tech but it definitely does not suffer from Riflemen supposedly being not good enough. In: COH2 Balance
