1) Double shreks on the new fusiliers
[…]
Another thing, if they still have the ability to snare it will be laughable as well. Imagine a squad that can not only do massive damage with 2 panzershreks BUT also it can snare. RIP any allied mediums.
Panzerfusiliers upgraded with Schrecks lose access to AT grenades.
7) Not looking forward to OKW players being able to call in a KT and Tiger in the same game... that ain't gonna be fun in 4v4 lol
The Tiger will be mutually exclusive with the King Tiger (just like Jagdtiger and Sturmtiger).
Only 1 heavy allowed on the field. |
And EXPLOSIONS (which is, of course, a valid tactic on some occasions)
Also worth noting for those that don't know: Teller Mines (and USF M20 dropped M6 mines and I think Riegel Mines) that get blown up by ballistic sources (i.e. other explosions) are not hardcapped at killing 2 models, unlike regular mines. They can kill as many models as are in the blast radius and can wipe entire squads. |
- SVT drop seems bugged too, Conscripts pick up the SVTs but don´t actually get them, same for Engineers
Do they keep all their Mosins or do 3 of them get no weapon model?
|
I already suggested:
- 6 people armed paratrooper Mosin carbine / rifle (better accuracy and rate of fire) or SVT-40
- Improvements: either DP-27 or six PPSh-41 paratroopers (better accuracy and slightly longer range)
- abilities: RG-42 grenade, explosive charge
- 1st level of veteranism options: fearlessness (For the Motherland analog), 37-mm mortar-shovel / 50-mm mortar (paratroopers make a volley from 3-5 shells for ammunition)
This unit is useful for the destruction of howitzers, caches, etc. As well as elite infantry.
What a useless unit was shown to us.
New weapons and animations can not be added. So carbines, DP-27 or mortars are out of the question. Between Shock Troopers and PPSH Cons, Soviets hardly need another CQC squad.
Another thing to remember is that this is just the first iteration. All units and abilities can still be changed based on feedback in the coming weeks. |
-Panzerfusiliers at 250mp seems like a mistake. A volks replacement sounds like a cool thing, since volk spam is common, but if the new unit is going to be a viable alternative to volks, it has to be very good or OP. We saw this with JLI. Higher price would be fair for a support unit.
Panzerfusiliers are not a support unit. They are an alternative mainline infantry. And for 250MP, they initially perform worse than Volksgrenadiers. But right now they do have better scaling and the Schreck upgrade, as well as having the AT grenade from the start.

PG dont need "hit the dirt"
just decrease cost 340->300 / 34->32
thats enough
Such a price decrease would just be an open invitation to more Panzerschreck blobs. |
One would simply have more reason to built m10/Sherman 76/Easy8. The reason you don't see this units frequently is not that they are bad but simply that M36 is a better option.
The main reason people do not use the Easy 8 is because it's in a very lackluster doctrine. The tank itself is good.
Though personally I do agree the M36 should probably lose ROF so it becomes less efficient against medium tanks, while keeping its role as Panther and heavies counter. |
That would make it even less attractive.
Uhm, no it wouldn't. The 5 men Veteran Squad Leader upgrades gives better DPS at all ranges above 5 (at 5 it is the same), it gives much better survivability (5 models and -10% RA) and it makes the Medical Kits free.
It's literally better than the G43 upgrade at everything, except DPS on the move (but only very slightly) and in the case only two squad models are left. |
Soviets are weak this current patch outside of one meta, you can see all the top players struggling to find something that works with them because penals+guards is just the only viable build when it's not the one and only urban def.
Soviets were not changed in the past 6 months, they did not become any weaker than they were around GCS2 and the AC tourneys. The only real thing that changed is that USF and UKF became stronger and more diverse, and people have flocked to playing those. I suppose because those faction are ultimately more effective right now, and because it's more fun. Soviets are still strong, just boring to play. |
When you say increased speed do you mean sprinting? Or they're just walking faster while firing? Because I don't think there's a single squad in the game that has the latter. And damage reduction isnt that common either, for good reasons
