I can see zooks being able to and most certainly not against big cats. Im not even sure the ptrs alone would work against an easy bot as those nasty chip damagers are countered by simply moving and the bot is smart eniugh to do that, even if some players are not In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Crocodile is useless in team games since patch26 Mar 2018, 06:32 AM But its job is to be a meat shield. It currently DOES do that, its gun is enough of a threat to draw fire as well. It functions as a better meat shield than the kv-1 ever did and it does that because of its health. If need be give it the same treatment as the kv (less nominal health but a rec damage modifier) so ot can get back at it a bit faster, although "combat" "engineers" arnt able to increase their repair speeds in any way but vet unlike sappers so that may be imba In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Crocodile is useless in team games since patch26 Mar 2018, 04:27 AM @firesparks what i saod was the hull down p4 was more than ~~just~~ a medium tank. 2 extra shots over any medium (an extra shot over a panther or 85) while also shooing faster... And a panther already takes a long time to kill the church because of its health pool. 320 armour and 1280hp for a no limit tank that has fireflies behind it would be far too much.... Tbh i think thats a good thing, the mg thing should be standard so the AOE of the cannons could be slightly reduced. Then tanks are a reliable threat instead of an RNG machine. Nothing sucks more than flanking an AT gun and missing shots for the next minute and netting nothing. In: COH2 Balance

No blackprince or centurion to pull out of their ass, even the super pershing would be more historical seeing as how it at least fought. If the churchill can't even beat the weakest Axis tank by itself, it's not going to be very useful. The buffs from hulldown make it more than just a simple medium tank, and being able to beat a standard medium hands down isnt a bad thing by anymeans. Should it be contesting panthers ir tigers or something? In: COH2 Balance

Well since its cost now pumps it up to okw p4 prices its contending with an 53 point armour increase to contend with its 40 point pen increase, the difference is made up by eating an extra shell. Gotta keep in mind while the 85 is 10 fuel +/- a p4 its 40 fuel more than a 76, nearly half again the fuel and has to reflect that in performance. Even then i think they did a good job, at max range vs the p4 it has a faur chance to win, up close obviously that falters but that opens up more risk for the 85 as well. In: COH2 Balance

My point once more is that T3 gives access to 1 op unit and 2 average so it is not so good to cover Ostheer needs. And since T4 also has its problems many player go for a Tiger when playing Ostheer. p4 got some nice buffs next patch, both pen and fuel reduction AND the t34 got a price increase (now a 30 fuel difference instead of 45) p4 is easily top dog for medium tanks now, ostwind is pretty meh and stug is OP tho... tiger imo is just so bloody solid (and iconic) that players want it no matter what... Thread: pzgren should be wehr's dedicated tank hunters25 Mar 2018, 11:55 AM Jump back to quoted post25 Mar 2018, 06:50 AMsinthe I don't think that they have weaker armour anymore well, the p4 has 25 more pen close and 30 more pen far and 20 more armour than the t34 for only 30 more fuel meaning 30 fuel gives a 69% chance to pen and only a 44% chance to be penned so i mean i PERSONALLY would say thats stronger armour... and i mean, every tank that isnt a light vehicle in the okw lineup has a MINIMUM of 230 armour, and half of which are over 300. just because there exists tools to combat the strong armour doesnt mean its not an advantage, sure the SU's have a bit too much pen and the jackson has all the tools to survive being squishy without actually being squishy but outside that the german armour has higher pen and armour values almost across the board. outside of actually designed hard counters (who again, ARE over performing slightly) the axis tanks DO have an advantage undeniably..
