Thread: 1v1 map issue with Schwerer main gun range4 Jul 2020, 19:20 PM @sky's would it matter if it's taking up pop or taking up muni? Resources are resources. The UKF muni sink if they use howis a lot, frankly it's more like a made that scales with tech. Even an "on/off" mode that drains muni like old soviet repair did for the schwere would be OK (under used mechanic imo) would make it more balanced and on point with the okw design In: COH2 Balance

They are "free" but do nothing without extra costs. Having a bit of faction diversity and flavor included in teching isn't an issue imo. Frankly I don't think the schwere is an issue either. I find more issue in the flame mades/ smare/ stgs that okw gets for free that they were NOT designed with in mind than their te h structure being able to defend itself if it's placed in a risky location. It functioning well when not in a risky situation is more issue with map design. In: COH2 Balance

Opponent spending 720mp on AT guns and managing to kill it before your army arrives and forces them back to allow Spios to repair it in 30 seconds? thats a map problem not a schwere problem. fuels should be in contested areas, not outside bases. He’ll also know your army’s position and have a big infantry superiority because you’ve spent 720mp and 260mp 70f if soviets for recon T70 to deal damage to it. Basically it forces you into a super risky early game siege that’s gonna be even more difficult next patch if the doctrinal tank buff for okw comes into play and you have to deal with an ostwind/Hetzer 30fuel earlier. and if they have 10 units costing a minimum of 2500mp what's the rest of your army doing? Why armt you capping territory when they are swinging over to defend their schwere? The nice thing about blobs is they are only in one place. Also it was good of you to mention the soviets in this match up because those AT guns do pretty good against infantry too. 2 zis' and a t70 can absolutely push off a blob. In: COH2 Balance
