Thread: Favorite Lines of Dialogue?15 Jan 2020, 23:45 PM Title says it all, what are you favorite lines from the game? I am mostly referring to the wonderful ambient dialogue from your squads that they yell out during or out of combat Some of my favorites: "These fucking construction workers are no match for Guards!" - Guards after they wipe an engineer squad (died laughing the first time I heard this) "Just another trip through the countryside, I just wish it wasn't this country" -Storms/Pgrens after a move order "Pretend they are bags of gold!" - Cons when stacking sandbags "Didn't see much of the movie, but I did see what was under that cheerleader uniform..." - Rear echelon randomly In: COH2 Gameplay

And it has op AA capabilities. What? The M5 quadmount is just as good at AA for way way cheaper... Centaur AA is certainly no more OP than OKW getting AA just for making it to t4... Then its a good thing Ostheer has pgrens to build... Are you really trying to compare the quality of Ost and UKF right now? Only one of these factions is being avoided like the plague Armadillo even proposed some positive changes for the brumbarr/t4 and you still feel the need to complain about another allied faction that happens to be the worst in the entire game. Pretty sure it has more to do with their roster. The new commanders they just added don't see much use besides Grand offensive... Most commanders that are OP on arrival are dealt with, see Windustry, Elite Troops, CAS doctrine, etc. The newer Shock Rifle, lightning war, heavy Cav have been in the game for some time now and no serious nerfs. There's clearly more than that going on In: COH2 Balance

Suggestion: Delay arrival. That can be achieved by: Increasing the CP and adjusting passive CP gain in bigger MOD so that all doctrinal abilities become available around the same time. Add a research "tech" similar to BP for them (requiring resources or not) with a long research timer acting more as delay than an actual tech restriction. The same "tech" could be used to delay the replacement of the unit once it was lost so that player would need to research it again. Like this idea a lot The other points I think are directly related to these two. I'm more okay with the all-around performance of heavies right now. Imo the problem is they just happen to be on commanders that have other great stuff, AND they arrive too early. Both of your above suggestions address exactly that, Id like to see where heavies are at if those two things are looked at first In: COH2 Balance

Maybe the answer is build time? Add them to the tech buildings directly, but they take a long time to manufacture? Yeah I think that's what distrofio is going for. A long build time helps the initial timing issue An added bonus is that it slows down replacing lost heavies. In long team games it's so annoying when you kill a heavy and it gets replaced immediately because you're in a 45-60 minute slugfest where resource float makes that easy But I agree the timing of the first heavy is the real issue. Cause that's effecting all game modes In: COH2 Balance

Of course even heavy tanks have different roles/durabilities, that should be taken account into aswell. Agree completely, we don't want to ban heavies from existence but making them require more planning to build would be really nice In: COH2 Balance

What kind of nonsense logic is that? It's an ability with no vet 1 requirement you would always use when fighting the Brumbarr. The m1 is by far the best AT gun in the game You're welcome to say the default fire of the 6 lber is better.
