Now if you want to change that and make STshrek a primarily source of AT, balance wise you'll be forced to nerf other OKW AT sources because shrek + raketen + PUMA + mines... that's going to be hardly balanced in the end. You know there is a reason for Oshteer to not have access to dual shrek, pak, AT mines AND stock PUMA. In: COH2 Balance

I don't know what's so hard to understand about that. AT Penals, even isolated, cannot be pushed around by a LV or overrun by any vehicle. Single Schreck squads are pretty much useless. The issue is the very high risk factor. If their first shot hits, then things might work out okay. If they miss, then good night because you might get pushed around until the end of time. Additionally, they always need support due to a lacking snare. And while the Schreck scales decently into the mid/late game, a single hit does not help you much against anything above LVs unless you can additionally snare the vehicle. The 120 damage does not replace a normal ATG shot, so you need a second hit to do anything. Now combine the mediocre performance with high cost, high reinforcement squads (that additionally do very well in the AI department, so you also have a performance loss there) and your result is a pretty useless upgrade. That's a good definition for the meaning to be a poor solution. So what's the problem? pshrek on Sturm are a last resort solution. In: COH2 Balance

This childish attitude is why members of the balance team do not like to engage in public discussions. It is not about each change but the volume of it. Should we take any change individually or all together? Because if the idea is all together then it is impossible to imagine what good those would do on the game. Individually speaking, they look like more of a christmas list than a balance goal aiming changelist. In that regards Mirafla changelist is much more consistent toward a aimed direction for each faction. In: COH2 Balance

Stormjäger Tiger 2 is an expensive unit, so it's not something cheesy in the sense that you have ways to counter it. Things don't need to be cheesy to make balance problems. You aim to give a certain and equal firepower availble to each faction and indeed if one unit from one faction gives a lot of that firepower (even at great cost) you'll give less of it to the rest of the faction's units. The game is balance toward the idea you can build the unit so the eventualily must be taken in account when balancing the faction as a whole. About the schwerer, the problem is it doesn´t come with tradeoff other than where you decide to put it. In: COH2 Balance

Its badly design and force extra taxative micro to counter it while it doesn't require any input to use it, as you explained it. Because of that it forbid OKW to receive the necesary buff it should have on some of their units and generate frustration playing the faction. Shwerer and Tiger2 aren't helping the faction as a whole to be balanced. In: COH2 Balance

It does not change the timing or costs, and SOV never lose their T3 building anyway. Wouldn't make it come sooner? Other solution is an USF way of solving stuff: Cut T3 price in two T3.0 allow M5 and SU-76 T3.5 allow T70 So the T70 initial cost remains the same but now you can have the M5 and SU-76 for a cheaper initial cost. T4 would still need T3.5 unlock to be built. In: COH2 Balance
