It can penetrate but "must" fucking penetrate. It cannot chase down tanks after nerf. Rof is not very good to.

Regarding the panther: If you want to stop a Panther diving you you ought to be liberally placing mines. Its intentionally survivable because it's supposed to dive.
As a final thing: The Ostwind is not "Effective" against the Sherman. How exactly are you losing fights to an Ostwind with a Sherman?
He's USF. USF stock light AT mines are rare because you have to lay them with rear echelons. To stop Panther dives just make Jacksons and keep kiting the Panther. It's really not that hard. Even one Jackson can 1v1 a Panther if the Jackson is on the defensive. |
So i see several people/stats say SOV are UP atm, and seeing the zis-3 barrage thread, claiming that zis-3 barrage is essential since SOV's don't have grenades stock, so me agreeing that zis-3 barrage is slighty OP, and SOV's are struggling in general, so how about cons or penals getting a weak grenade? to compensate slightly? with short range?
ZiS barrage is fine and it's cool having an actual field gun. Just make the actual AT gun cost a little more or something. Tbh as much as I hate the ZiS 3 I think it's not a pressing issue. |

Agreed. I accept that clown cars are an integral part of the game now, and I'm fine with non-clown car transports like the Universal Carrier and the 251, but I really wish that clown cars like the M3A1 were doctrinal with a Soviet BA-64 replacing them. |
Do RET really need a buff, though? They've got the lightest workload of any engineer unit, provide okish DPS, and are already quite good Zook carriers. Volley Fire is also really not that terrible of an ability, I've seen it used effectively multiple times. Its not exactly the most high-impact ability sure, but its not exactly necessary.
Volley fire is a meme ability. It works, but it's so silly, and volley fire with M1 carbines? I think REs are fine, they can be equipped with minesweeper and double zook. |
UHU is actually bad in current implementation and imo should become doctrinal and moved to a commander and have added utility like mark target.
What could work would be to get different version of the opel truck with the "siphon" ability already in game. This ability would be timed and work increase resources production by "stealing" them from enemy sectors.
So the Vampire half track from CoH1? Also, it would be nice if someone tried to mod the idea you had earlier with the Uhu minesweeper team. |
