well it hits moving units notably more often than other indirects.
Care to present clip/rep example or metric that would support that?
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

light indirect shouldn't snipe moving units And it doesn't, because that's not how scatter works. In: COH2 Balance |

How else would you do it? All of your army is following attack move in one place, how else would you defend your completely open flanks and backline while your army marches forward like moba creeps on mid lane? In: COH2 Balance |

Whoever said turning your sound up are definitely trolling. This is a legit way of how everyone with skill higher then easy AI uses to identify rocket arty being fired. Even you heard the sound you have to guess where did he aim across the whole goddamn map. Once ears were used to identify salvo going off, you are then expected to use these silly round objects above your nose and right below forehead. With enough skilled use and years of practice, you will be able to tell where on the map red unit was last time when he met your unit, which if you do not camp all the time in 1 place, is going to be the place where salvo will land most likely. Btw, panzerwerfer seldom wipe full healthy squad, even I had two shooting in the same spot. You're new level of dense. You're supposed to use it as close as possible, max range shots are ineffective for all rocket arty units. In: COH2 Balance |

Cool. When you guys will start deleting all the "balance" threads with the sole argument being "I lost a game to unit X" then that always end up being 10 page circle jerks of other people who have lost a game to unit X without any further explanations, arguments or replays to discuss? At least, even shotgun fired katy has a chance to miss. Pwerfer fired from range 60 or less gives you exactly 3 seconds to guess which squad will you lose, you might try to save it if its regular infantry, but weapon teams won't even pack up and turn around. In: COH2 Balance |

The US Pak Howitzer is seriously way to strong at the moment. It literally wipes squads with insane damage and pin point accuracy due to its crazy aoe . If that wasn't bad enough with the high explosive ability it turns it into a nuclear weapon. It is out of control and is the most pressing balance issue at the moment . A hotfix update is greatly needed. Replay for analysis pls. In: COH2 Balance |

That I do agree with completely. All factions should've had access to the same basic tools, just in different ways (like grenade launchers instead of flamethrowers for anti-garrison) in addition to slightly varying playstyles (like focussing more on infantry, or mechanized, or armor). But absolute asymmetry like OKW's original design concept, where they were completely overpowered in some situations and didn't stand a chance in other situations, that's next to impossible to balance properly. Not within the context of CoH2's overarching core mechanics. And that's pretty much what I've said already. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Company of Heroes will always be remembered because it was jaw droppingly revolutionary. Company of Heroes 2 just did more of the same. Which doesn't make it worse, only makes it stand out less. However by this time I would say it is much more polished and balanced than vCoH ever was. vCoH will definitely not be remembered 50 years from now for how balanced it was, because it really wasn't. People for whatever reason can't stop looking at coh1 through pink glasses of nostalgia, it was a complete and utter balance mess at all points in time. Panzer Elite, vCoH Brits and the release versions of CoH2's USF, OKW and UKF prove that pure asymmetrical balance just doesn't work and generally only leads to toxic and overpowered strategies while also being defenseless in certain other situations. That wasn't really fun for anyone. Asymmetrical balance works if the tools allow do do the same things, but in different way. Completely removing certain tools, giving nothing to cover that certain field and forcing a faction to rely on crutch solution that inevitably will be nerfed/removed with little compensation in the future only leads to more problems. I would say DoW2 did asymmetrical balance right as not a single faction felt like it lacks something completely and even if it did, it was compensated adequately for it. It wasn't perfect, but it was incomparably better then CoH series expansion factions. Enforcing asymmetrical teching leads to much more problems I believe, especially if that teching is crutching on not allowing access to all factions units as it was the case of old soviets and USF. Imo, PE had the best teching this series have seen and given how USF and partly OKW teching changed, its only confirmation of that. Not best unit composition, but teching definitely delivered.
