Well Ive only played a few hours of since release, and all as OKW, Ive had 10% suppression reduction for volks and 5% reload time for Stuka, a skin and a victory strike.
I wonder if it has more to do with kills/caputres or some other game stat than just pure time.

I can't comment much on the P2 having not used it much. But in terms of tecking it is viable, just get 1-2 rakenwerfer and follow the P2 with a Jagdpanzer, not expensive panther. |
Yeah Stuka is a major fuel penalty, especially consider if he's gone Stuka he's had to go T3 and has therefore either skipped healing T2, is not going to get T4 (no obers), or worse is going all 4 which means you really really should overwhelm with tanks (1v1).

Go play OKW if you think they are so good. They are actually the most challenging army to use atm. |
While Panzerfusiliers are great in and of themselves, I find the officer as more of a bleed or waste of precious mp for OKW in 1v1 early-mid game. Late game however I may call it to help with retreating vetted enemy squads or when I have a good blob of vetted fusiliers out that need extra dmg love with the officer stationed nearby if needed/when I have the extra mp.

The fact he comes at 1 CP makes you want to call him in, esspecially as early OKW inf isnt all that desirable, but hes not really a sensible choice until he has enough troops to lead.
Possible use for him if you call him early could just be to use him as a flank harrasing squad. |
True maybe they are quite lacking early on in this capacity, but it does not take that long to rush a field gun out when you see Maxims galore, and a second is not far behind.. then you really do put the hurt on them. |
The field gun does a very good number on the maxim. Had a hard maxim spammer pin me to my base, no problem, pop T2, get a field gun, start shelling them, get a second field gun, control group them together and now wipe a maxim with every click. Now grab a IR half track and continue to destroy them from their fallen back postitions in the map. Slowly you will bleed them dry and push them further and further back.
All they can try do is counter mortar, which your field guns sit next to your medics getting healed and reinforced.
Just get a Jagdpanzer to deal with any tank aggression and back up with either fuasts or shreks.
Just dont panic because you are pushed back into your base initially.

Didnt read the whole thread, but.. I dont build pumas in 1v1, you dont NEED to start with T3.
You can play only using T2, this saves fuel and allows an early Jadgtiger, combine with one shrek and one Rocket AT... this is way better than pumas IMO.
Yeah they dont have loads of suppression, unless you go Luftwaffe... but they have high DPS instead.. just like PE.
The garrison issue has been bothering me though! Its causing me problems early game. |
You don't want him too far back seen as he has 3 obersaldaten.. You will want their DPS too, at long range of course.
I have found the focus fire ability very useful in large engagements, because with several squads you can catch an opponent off guard and finish a squad off very quickly, good vs US officers.
I imagine the force retreat to be handy if you have a vehicle under threat from bazookas. |
