I seriosuly suggest your going to want T4 up, for two obvious reasons, one is for Obers as this doctrine has no Inf, and secondly is a well placed Flak HQ is a very very good defensive tool which will allow you to turtle upto the required CP/Fuel. Thread: Farming War Spoils21 Jul 2014, 19:15 PM I dont think they actually honestly care if people idle to get items, its all looks better on their stats when they send the figures off to Sega and whoever else.. its just like a business clawing in as much money as possible just before the end of the financial year in April just to try plump up their yearly financial figures.. but in reality they are just robbing from their next years figures. Thread: OKW general strategy discussion21 Jul 2014, 17:58 PM I don't like to use the rss convert ability too early on as you lose more than what you gain and both rss are needed. Occasionally I'll active it for short bursts just to get a certain unit or ability out. Then sometimes late game if I want more armour or decide I have enough armour and want to spam off maps. Thread: Nice job Relic!21 Jul 2014, 17:50 PM Why are several people including milka saying that the direct fire fires really slowly.. Honestly if does not. Of course it takes a long time to turn, but that's using it wrong, try to think if it like a more extreme version of pak43 in how you use it. Face where you expect that tank to come from, keep it scouted and then it will fire in less than a second from clicking. Yeah sometimes it can clip something on route and detonate like a strum tiger, so you have to be careful where you build it in the 1st place. It helps to angle the camera when you build it to get a POV for line of sight. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW general strategy discussion21 Jul 2014, 14:48 PM spamming Fussies with all ammo going to G43s with medics and then into Puma, then either another puma, or maybe a Flak Track if you feel risky. That can be tricky for them to face, because you can actually out shoot their inf early game, and light vehicles wont help them. If they get zooks... their inf is further screwed. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: Maxim Spam21 Jul 2014, 09:11 AM It is annoying, but if he has 6 maxims, one or two indirect fire units isn't going to cut it. As OKW you should be able to get two IGSs out with an IR ht.. This is the only situation I buy one it. Use them together to focus fire and watch squads drop. Heal them with the medic hq and move occasionally. If you can out indirect fire them, you only leave them one option , frontal assault, which is harder with so many maxims.. So just prepare enough AT. Thread: Storm That Position! OKW Build Order20 Jul 2014, 15:38 PM Similar to one of my builds, but I used a kubel. It allows super early T4 (not spending fuel on light vehicles), which provides a very solid base against anything the enemy can have, and also a relativley early Jadg, which while it struggles playing cat and mouse with light vehicles, it certainly makes them behave and gets a head start on any shermans! I personaly think a squad of fusiliers (with G43) isnt a bad stop gap before Obers, and officer for the Obers and Field Gun is good. I dislike going for a panther, all that fuel into something which isnt great Vs infantry.. in a lot of situations I really like getting a Sturm Tiger, as it can be more offensive then quickly fall back to the safety of your trucks and Rakketens, is very useful against any target and gets lots of wipes.
