						 Just no.

You should play 1v1 instead. If you go for random matchmaking in the mode that has probably the most arranged teams of all, you really should not complain if the team selection is highly volatile and yours is usually worse due to missing communication |

You screwed up your chance to name it "CoHrona Cup" though

This is a worldwide pandemic we're all affected. I'm currently in isolation. There is no need to get offended by something as far reaching as this, the spirit of this cup is to get our mind off things with a CoH2 tournament, that's as far as it's linked.
I like the idea. Keep everyone inside on their computer playing CoH. Otherwise all those fuckers would go outside and spread the virus.

You're doing your part, AE |

I bleed and poor scaling compared to actual mainlines as well.

If you see Sturmpio spam outside of a 4v4, chances are that you play against a low level OKW player. The 5 min power spike is not worth the 25 min bleed afterwards. |

I'm against this idea. Something has to be done about TDs, yes, but not standartization. The only TD that is causing real issues at the moment is the Jackson. Afterwards Panther and SU76 could use some tweaks, but a complete rework of all AT vehicles would only create issues.
Also if the AT counter becomes standardized then vehicle play becomes dull, and this would make the game progressively more boring the longer it goes.

Mainline infantry is also mostly fine at the moment (hickups here and there, sure), but they are far from standardized. |

I think we recently had a Maxim thread, you can reactivate that if necessary.

Apart from that I suggest to just let this troll thread die in peace. |
|
With the StuG being usable again, we might give the Panther another role than brawling against mediums.
Idea is worth a try for test modes.

Could someone of the balance team give insight if a Panther rework is allowed by Relic in terms of scope? Not for this patch obviously, but a potential next patch. |

GMC has been meta for years now. It's a strong doctrine, but also one of the best designs. Everything in there gives you utility, but nothing is overly strong imo. Also people have rarely complained, especially considering how long and often it is in the meta now.

You counters are well chosen overall. I think it must have something to do with general gameplay style. I've also seen that camo works well against Guards. Ass grens should actually be fine as well, although the sprint costs muni. |

Just some things that could help you decide when to invest and your standing in the game. Note ahead: larger game modes usually have earlier timings by about 1 min, also caches are very common and can screw with your assessment. If you see a cache factor that in.

1. Resource income in a perfectly split map is approx 35 mun and 29 fuel (might be off a few points, but it's very close). If you earn less than that for a longer period of time invest in AT guns because your enemy will have his tank earlier than you. If you have more than that buy offensive infantry and rush a medium or LV.

2. Invest in infantry until you're at about 50-60 pop cap. More than that will bleed you, less than that will cost you map control. You should have about 3-4 line infantry, an MG, 1-2 ATGs and for larger modes a mortar.

3. Standard timings for vehicles (approximately)
LVs:
OST: 5 min
UKF/USF/OKW: 7-8 min
SOV: 8-10 min
If you for example as SOV are at 12 min and think about getting a T70, it's usually better to get an ATG instead and save fuel for a medium or SU85.

Mediums: about 15 min, SOV 1-2 min earlier, OKW 1-2 min later (if you invested in a LV obviously you delay your medium).
If you have seen neither a LV nor a medium in a balanced game by 17 minutes, expect a heavy.

Heavies usually come at about 20 min (will be pushed back a bit by the current patch).

When you plan for a medium, make a short assessment of how long it will take you with an income of 25 fuel. Then you'll know of you're behind on resources or not. |

I think an overhaul of targetsizes and accuracy is needed. It's too late now (though I did suggest it a long time ago) as the numbers are simply too close for fine tuning

Well, 1 target size corresponds to about 4-5% hit chance on the average.
I don't think that anything lower than this would really be noticeable. Especially since due to collision hits, the actual difference is not 4-5%, but more like 2-3% |
