Are you guys drunk? Why the hell is there a thompson paras and Stormtroopers comparison? These two couldn’t be any more different. Stormtroopers are a fragile ambush squad while thompson paras are the best/2nd best assault squad in the game. Muni investment in upgrades is completely irrelevant, different factions/roles/designs. The thing is, if you attack normally, the squad would run away anyways. Except when thompson paras pop the ability, you'll get basically a guaranteed squad wipe regardless of what the enemy squad does. Meanwhile, mp40 storms might get just an extra man killed compared to just normally attacking the squad. Essentially u pay 25 munis to kill an extra man, while thompson paras pay 20 for a squad wipe. I've done it so many times with the paras, it's almost unfair, I just get them on your retreat path, wait for the retreat and pop the ability on even a fairly healthy retreating squad, then squad wipe. It's pretty damn easy to get on a squad's retreat path. So you want a Stormtroopers buff. No In: COH2 Balance |

Why not? Its autocannon could penetrate 40mm armour with the PzGr.40 at 100 meters. The T70’s armour was 10mm-60mm thick so having a 40% pen chance is pretty reasonable. The Luchs could stay the same since the PzGr.39 had lower penetration performance. In: COH2 Balance |

That’s 50 muni you desperately need to upgrade your infantry that can easily be countered by a minesweeper. You also don’t have any other AT option besides a slow pak that keeps missing the T70 and needs 3 shots to kill it, and expensive shreks that have little range and accuracy and make a 340mp squad useless vs infantry. It’s really not that hard to understand. If you take away 1 shot tellers then Ost needs a stock Puma. In: COH2 Balance |

As I asked before, how would a teller leaving a t70 with 20hp and a dead engine be such a crippling blow to the faction? A 222 can sneeze on that to kill it So in your scenario I have to dive the damaged T70, since the mine won’t always be on the frontline, with a 222 and probably lose it in the process to a Zis 3 and snare combo protecting the damaged T70

Indeed, and that is why I suggested it, since it will thus require more precision in how you micro the T70 and you won’t be able to zoom around Paks cones of fire like now. You wanted to nerf t70s mobility, if you do that t70 is easier to counter. Why do you need 1 hit kill tellers or Puma in that situation? I said its acceleration should go down a little bit so its user should be more precise with his movements. This does not mean the Pak40 has that much of an easier time countering it. Plus having tellers not one shot the t70 is a colossal Ostheer nerf which is extremely unfair as a trade off for a bit of acceleration reduction on the T70. Hence why I said this would have to result in a stock Puma since Ostheer would have no means of countering the T70 efficiently if it’s used properly. Notice the word efficiently. Making 3 Pgrens with shreks and camouflaging them in ambush is not efficient. In: COH2 Balance |
