I think the current lethality level of infantry is good and fun, and if you think it should be lower then that's a fair point (even if I don't agree with), but that doesn't change the fact that what you suggest is logistically impossible at this point anyway. And all elite and assault infantry too. It's safe to say that at this point it's not feasible to adjust 30 infantry units just to make Grens feel a little better in 1v1s. In: COH2 Balance

Although I don't know how it's abusive since they both can be countered by sweepers. My guess is staying inside the capture circle with a squad (so the booby trap doesn't trigger), baiting in an enemy squad and then retreating / moving out of the circle after draining enough health to instantly get a (near) wipe (moving friendly squad out of the capture circle activates the trap). But yeah this is countered by minesweepers and it's not very different from baiting vehicles or squads into mines/snares or placing mines / throwing grenades on retreat. I wouldn't really call that cheesy. It takes quite a lot of work to set up and baiting the enemy into smart traps is part of the game. In: Replays

Thread: Vehicles crushing infantry: Skill or abuse?3 May 2020, 09:54 AM I think crushing nowadays mostly depends on player skill/knowledge, and there is a good enough risk/reward dynamic in place because usually a player is putting their tank out of position which can be risky if there's any sort of AT nearby. So in essence it's good to keep it in to make the game more interesting. The only thing that I would change (if it was possible) would be to make tanks increasingly unresponsive/slower as the amount of manoeuvres stacks. So the more turning / reversing / moving forward the tank does the slower it gets. That way crushing would become a one time thing (based on momentum) rather than endlessly trying to go-kart around a squad trying to get some lucky crushes. In: COH2 Gameplay
