D: Feels like to be IR halftrack should just be buffed. if you want something that's a half track equvilant without overlapping duties, how about the 250 halftrack? Okw lacks a troop transport of sorts and I think the 250 can fulfill a sort of early infantry support role (like the m20 does) for okw. In: Lobby

I think someone said it was technically an officer unit so it does but I haven't tested it myself. If it does get shared vet in its current iteration, it shouldn't. Vet not upgrades is what will carry the Air Landing Officer through so it should fight for its Vet 2-3 that can destroy other CQC units. ALso it'll make it more punishing to lose the squad. There are units that can fight at close range better but most of them are designed for mid/close than than for close. The argument is simply moot. And there is a difference going from "no QCB" to the best "QCB" stock unit. In addition the unit bring little to the table other than close DPS. That why I have suggested a different approach proving what UKF actually need in early game, anti-garrison. Finally it current implementation mess with two if not three commanders for no good reason. Laughs in Commando call in, in a heavy tank doctrine. At this rate, most likely they are going to immplement Officer in T2 like this. Without taking in account that officer can come before Pgrens. If there's one thing I agree with Jack is that it's going to be overused and then nerfed. In: COH2 Balance

Like brining the tigers at 9cp. It's not called balancing anymore they are just shuffling cards. The real philosophy going on is the mirroring of all the faction to make them all look alike little by little. And im not liking this. ] I'm going to have to call bull shit on you. You can complain about design philosphy but if the facts are wrong then we have a problem. Sappers with Bren gun is no good. Brens have innate inverse dps and Sten guns don't have much dps beyond range 15. Bren's best dps range is at max range 35. This means with a bren gun or even the heavy engineer upgradeded vickers (which has the same stats as a regular bren gun) Sappers are never at optimal range and can only be lack luster. Even with full vet and 2 brens sappers will lose to stg volks. Flamers are also doctrinal. The point Lago was making is that there should be tools for every faction nondoctrinaly. Brits also wasn't used. It's currently the worst 1v1 faction in the game. In: COH2 Balance

Which is fine on an AEC because you only need it for the tread shot and to call in the recon plane while the aura boosts all your other tanks. It's a fantastic ability for teamgames. Also, the lack of any late game abilities has meant that Lend Lease is practically never used beyond 1v1s. Adding a good but non-oppressive late game ability like Combined Arms or Command Vehicle would make it a lot more attractive in bigger modes (which is important as it's the only one featuring Assault Sections) without making it too good in 1v1s (as those abilities are usually less effective in that mode). Whoops could have sworn it made everything slower. If you add command vehicle to Lend Lease does that mean the halftrack can be one too? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Winter Preview: Lend Lease Problem 12 Feb 2020, 20:04 PM Jump back to quoted post12 Feb 2020, 12:08 PMSander93 I was thinking of potentially swapping Crew Repairs for a Combined Arms type of assault ability that would add some late game power to the doctrine but comes with some requirements to use to its full potential, instead of adding another no-brainer click-and-forget ability (skill planes). Designate Command Vehicle ability could work too. Sould get away from a unit based ability. For example Lend Lease is already 4/5 units for slots and one ability to support those units. It allows the brits to play in a way simular to USF obiously with CQC, mortar, and M10 You don't have to make every doctrine viable in the late game. It's okay to let Lend Lease be a very strong early and mid game doctrine. It's plenty viable for its early game alone but Assault sections are a bit too strong making this very much a cheese doctrine. Everyone wants every doctrine to be strong in every stage of the game now a days and it is making every commander feel samey. Command Vehicle is very underutilized due to its negative pentalties to parent vehicle. I sugges reducing some of the mobility pentalities. In: COH2 Balance
