It is insanely obvious they do not play or QA their own game ever. vCoh was like this with simple UI stuff that never worked. It has been the Relic trademark since the beginning. That is the super depressing thing about Coh3s launch. It killed the playerbase, streaming, etc. Some of that may come back. But imagine if Coh3 was actually done when it released. I have a bunch of small dumb ideas that would make the game fun as hell to play for casuals and streams, buts its like 2 years from just being playable. And work on it will probably die after that. Those little things will never be even thought about before it dies. So coh3 went from "This could be amazing" to "I hope it just gets playable before they drop it". I dont even play Coh3 and I talk about it all day long. Right now I am watching some COH3 and focusing on the terrible sound. Dudes screaming in my ears while large caliber weapons are being fired and they sound like someones popping balloons about 30 meters away from me. Zero immersion. EDIT: I just ran the game with the screaming at a minimum. And yes, the alerts are buried in there. Alerts need to have their own volume control. Thread: At what point will you come back to Coh3?10 Aug 2023, 18:29 PM I have been trying to find hacks to make the map editor better. This has led me to testing a map I am editing. And to me the biggest factor is sound. The constant yelling is annoying and it covers up what is really happening so much. I find that after about 20 seconds my brain just filters out the game sound altogether. The yelling needs to be turned way down. From early talks with Duffman, turning them down also turns down the major alerts like "Grenade!". Is that still the case after updates? Thoughts? In: COH3 Central
Thread: game crash5 Aug 2023, 10:40 AM What OS are you running? The last patch created a bug that crashed a lot of PCs. The hotfix supposedly fixed a terrain loading issue. You should have downloaded hotfix 1.2.2 which fixes that issue. DumaisTV was saying he had an issue since the last patch that was not necessarily game related. In Windows 11 settings System > Display > Graphics > Default Graphics Settings you can toggle GPU Scheduling and Optimizations for windowed games. The Optimization for windowed games was the issue I think. If you toggle this and it works, you can set it up to only work on the Coh3.exe in the previous screen. I was not paying much attention to DumaisTV when he explained it so it is the rough idea. Good Luck In: COH3 Central

This is something I have not seen discussed much but would be good fodder on this site. vCOH MAP POINTS We cant really talk about this change too much because 2v2 and up are dead. And I think this is where the change would really help. Is this change better in your opinions? COMMANDERS/BATTLEGROUPS This change was supposed to make the meta less predictable. For example "every player knows unit X will become available at Y minutes". Has this change helped? If not, is it because the choice tree is not designed well? In: COH3 Central
