My only issue with the 50cal is that they seem to cluster a lot more than other hmg crews. I wonder if others have the same experience? CODGUY it's you who's performing poorly compared to your counterpart. Look at the DPS charts or run some tests. Thread: Can't play COH2 after map update12 Jul 2018, 14:57 PM Hi, I had this problem yesterday and today after the map update. When I enter COH2, all the bars and tabs ingame show a string of random numbers with the phrase "No key". I can still enter a game and play the game, but every single piece of text in the game is replaced with $110084593 No Key. Is there a way to resolve this bug? It's a horrible version of the SU85 because it costs 280/75 and comes in T3. SU85 comes in t4 and is 350/130. In: COH2 Balance

I think your first idea sounds good to me. Here is why: Since most of these people here agree that SU-76 is an AT Platform but not an AI vehicle, I did a test. From my pre-patch successful experience, if you want to make SU-76 lethal enough you have to build at least 4 of them. So the total resources cost is 1120 MP and 300 fuel, which is more than the cost of a JT or a elephant. The test is simple, try to compare the kill time that four su76s use to destroy two panthers, and one elephant plus one pak40( total of 1040 MP and 265 fuel) time to kill two t34/85s and one t34/76. The result was quite shocking even to myself since I have given up using Su76 after the recent patch. Su76s use the exact same time to kill two Panthers with tones of non-pen and misses, which when elephant and pak are killing t34s like chewing jelly. Please keep in mind, even after building the elephants and a pak, the total price is still lower than the total cost of 4 SUs; 2 Panthers have a total HP of 1920, and 2 t34/85 plus t34/76 have HP of 2320. Please point me out if there is anything wrong with the HP value and the cost. At your level of play tanks just sit there shooting each other until one side is destroyed. At a reasonable level of competency, tank destroyers kite and poke, whereas fast tanks will go for a flanking dive/rush, which makes comparing your skill level with the actual gameplay as accurate as comparing RPS to Chess. I have many time fought it with 2 Jacksons and if it keep it frontal armor in between you really need luck or back luck to lose it. And by the way Jackson are 16pop, 32pop to counter the KT making the 26pop argument invalid. We are almost the same rank in USF 1 v 1 yet have totally different experiences. How strange, when fighting OKW I'm afraid of Luchs, P4 spam, Obers, double-cloaked raketens. If I see a KT I'm laughing my head off and enjoying my free win. One Jackson can easily force the KT into perma-repair status while getting Vet 3 for free. You can't even say "noob learn to play" cos we're pretty much the same rank. The only time the player with the KT wins is when it's called in as a "Victory Parade KT" on an Allied player who has clearly lost but is just bleeding out the clock/vps instead of surrendering. If you let it eat four to five volleys (assuming you get suprememly unlucky with rng from atgs or TDs then you’ve messed up. Most tanks also can’t take that much damage. It's incredibly common for it to take multiple volleys. Especially if you want to let it fire a shot in retaliation. The alternative would be for the KT to poke out, get hit, retreat without firing because of its turret traverse, and then you don't risk losing the KT but it's just going to be 26pop of upkeep that does nothing the whole game. If players were to use the KT as hyper-conservatively as you suggest (never being in situations where it could possibly be endangered) then it would be an expensive and worthless piece of garbage that eats up 26 popcap. It sounds as if you've never used a King Tiger before. The KT's acceleration value is so bad that if you're slightly slow to retreat or stay to get a shot off, you're guaranteed to eat 2 hits. And that's 2 hits from each source of AT weaponry - it definitely won't kill the KT, but it makes a dive pretty viable. In: COH2 Balance

IMO the best mode to look for balance is 2v2 as far as balance goes but thats my opinion. 1v1 players would disagree. In any case, if the game has any e-sport aspirations, it would need to set its mind on a mode to be the "core" experience. SC, WC3, SC2 were all 1v1 focused. Balancing things based on 2v2 would probably be the worst imo. You still can't balance it enough for the larger team games, while detracting from the core competitive focus that 1v1 is and should be.
