Thread: Nerf "Encirclement Doctrine" Axis. BROKEN7 Sep 2021, 14:27 PM "Toxic titles" The ability is map dependent and the call in time is sub 30 seconds making it hard to avoid if you have a long way to retreat as it tracks through FOW and all sectors cut off. Some larger maps only have a 2~3 connecting territories from base sector to the rest of the map meaning you'll lose a lot on retreat and there isn't much counter play other then caches. I've used and been up against this ability, its potent in team games and the ability to drop through FOW makes it invaluable if you can pull it off. I like the concept though, just wish it wasn't map wide or didn't track past the front line sectors. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: USF and MP bleed7 Sep 2021, 13:21 PM With all the recent USF threads popping up recently and the fact this has gone on for 6 pages makes me feel like its evident that USF MP bleed is real or at the very least in need of some tech adjustments. I've already suggest give USF a similar MP cost decrease late game akin to OST and Sovs. Change to MP bleed: Once major is on the field, decrease reinforce cost for rifles by 1~2, RE's by 1~2 (needs tested to) Changes to tech that might help mitigate USF problems back teching problem: move AT/.50 to T0, still require tier unlock. once cpt/lt building is upgraded allow for the building of the other support unit type respectively. Can the community balance team at least attempt at making a change to see how well it scales in a beta patch? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Relief for USF teching problems5 Sep 2021, 19:56 PM The best thing to do honestly would be to combine the tools, both .50 and AT gun should fall under t0 and unlock once you get either the LT/CPT building upgrade. If that need some sort of fuel cost increase so be it, either way the lack of tools and the slow tech of USF is rly a kicker. A side issue of USF is simply the late game bleed, I've suggest an MP cost reduction to reinforce once major is hit to avoid the 4 year old riflemen vet 3 33% received accuracy modifier community complaint. Thread: M4 Sherman needs cost decrease 23 Aug 2021, 02:36 AM The P4 does the job of a Sherman better than a Sherman, I'd rather pay the prices for a p4 than a Sherman. Additionally the p4 comes out earlier than the Sherman often times and by default has better pen and with vet armor than the Sherman, ironically the unit its historically supposed to beat. The pintle Mg + Coax + main gun of the p4 makes it an all around better medium tank both for AT and AI, the moving accuracy differences (which IIRC) is the major factor for the sherman which is offset by the p4's vet . Factor in the vet 2 armor (or pre installed for OKW) and you simply get a better unit that scales better with team games and later game. The Sherman for its cost I'd say hedges 10 fuel too expensive but its not THAT bad but not really outstanding or remarkable, just mediocre leading you to go for more reliable units > Jackson, E8, 105 or holding for Pershing.
