I was expecting that to happen as it was the same with the 64bit Beta version, but testing new patch today revealed that on Linux (and I assume on mac too) new patch is a very old version of coh2 combined with 64bit patch. As a prove to that I could upload later the screenshots of old commanders layout or old main menu layout. In: Lobby

Hey I had this issue when I first booted up CoH2, but it fixed itself after it connected to the server. It takes a lot longer than it did previously (which was almost instant) but it got there eventually for me. So If I had to guess it's because you're currently attempting to connect to the servers. I know they're actually really strong, but maybe we could tone that down a tad as well as fix their juggle? The fact that on the airborne paths if you equip 2x BARs every model you drop could potentially be a BAR is really nerve racking. In: COH2 Balance

Sandbags We are increasing the time it takes to build sandbags for a select number of units. This will make it more of a strategic choice to build sandbags, because building them in the early game will hinder the pace at which the map can be captured. This should encourage players to build sandbags only in vital locations, rather than putting them everywhere their line infantry goes to capture points. - Sandbag build time increased from 12 to 18 seconds for Infantry Sections, Riflemen and Volks And the exception is conscripts and pioneers. AT guns also make very short work of them. Other options include: Satchels and Demo Charges. I suppose you'd either use a scout car or smoke to get close. The issue I run into is, when you have an AT gun try and destroy it, it just gets blasted by mortars. Not to mention you're either attack grounding or have to walk into its line of fire and be suppressed. And like I don't mean that the guy is only building bunkers, he has an actual composition behind it and in mid-lategame he's just spending his float on no popcap suppression platforms. It's just the amount of effort to break a multi bunker defense is ridiculous compared to how much effort is required to operate. Another problem is typically once that person gets their campfest setup, maybe some mines and some AT guns, they can then dump all their actual infantry and tanks to their teammates side and start doubling up.
