Id argue that's the bigger problem, the ZiS can move and it has longer range. But if you creep too far it's a free AT gun for your opponent
True! But the movement speed at vet 1 is garbage. If gladly give the enemy a zis to kill their stuka or werfer or finish off a tank or get LOS on their arty. It's all round a big ball of cheese
You get a bonus called your opponent can't see your at gun and not prepare for it.
Any good player will have already prepared for it because you should have it by a certain time. Recon will reveal the AT gun and it should already be behind your main line. Not saying camo isn't a good ability, but if you expect an AT gun of all things to have shock value you're loopy. It's only so strong on the rakk because it can be invisible AND come to you
Anti-Tank Gun Ambush Tactics (affects all relevant Soviet Commanders)
AT Gun Ambush Tactics is being given a First-Strike Bonus to improve the ability’s potency when firing from stealth.
First Strike bonuses to -25% reload, +20% accuracy, +20% penetration
CP requirement from 5 to 3
Thanks. It's a shame all of the good resources are outdated or simply not supported anymore
I would think non vet would be the way to go as well. Sustained fire from maxim and suppressive fire for vickers are either too important or too weak to be vet. This is in contrast to the mg42 incendiary rounds which are extremely powerful and are not needed for the mg42 to perform in its basic role.
Agreed. Vet shiuld be a bonus that improves a unit, not a necessity tmthat makes it useable.
here was my suggestion for an okw tech reworkthat has the walking stuka in a semi step to 4 so it's not QUITE that late, but not from the first building but reworks the timing for Obers and allows med+much builds as well
Rak used to be camo in cover only but it was changed because it was buggy as hell (kinda like the forward observers in old recon, sometimes it would work but often it wouldn't)
But I'm on board for proper ambush camo instead of offensive camo
Many of the abilities should scale with veterancy, maxim ability falls under that category. For instance reload time before the ability takes affect could be lowered with veterancy.
But then we fall into the same category as cons-if they get wipedgg because no vet means it's barley even usable.
Edit don't get me wrong, I LIKE timed abilities, but basic use shouldn't be behind vet. Make the sustained fire non vet and I'm on board
