sovietsIS2 is overpriced, survivability low.
It comes late and it is slow, meaning u cant pull it out quick enough from danger.
And who repairs it? U need like 3 Engenieers to constantly repair it. Thats 15 pop wasted on units that do nothing but repair.

It doesn't lose to Tiger in 1v1, but it loses everywhere else, lower AI performance, lower AT DPS lower base range, but higher armor and slightly higher speed.
Higher pen though isn't it? Also that new vet shell is a nuke... |
Going Jadtiger in team games is pure trash. İt can flanked by t-34 and t-34 make jadtiger useless toy. Even if you support jadtiger with raketens your raks will cleared by katyusha or major arty and same scenario will be happen.
That's a really funny way of saying "the enemy does a better job using their combined arms than I do so it's the balance that's bad"
Lay a mine, keep infantry nearby. Play the game and don't expect a single unit to do it all for you.
If it's a team game coordinate a push on the Katy (or are they laying mines and screening with infantry and using AT guns as well as t34s and arty in their well rounded army composition?) the game is about back and forth. |
Could buff blitz for the panther to allow for increased moving accuracy. Since its speed traits were nerfed it has been left underwhelming (good, but nowhere near the God tier zippy car it used to be) and then blitz will find use as an offensive ability instead of just a get out of dodge ability. |
The KT doesn't need to be sub 300 armour, but there needs to be an answer that isn't raw pen. Deflection damage allows dedicated TDs to deal chip damage (so volume of fire via the proper units) can scare the big cat away without negating anything in the game with an armour value below the KT. both armour and the counters need to be viable. Previously TDs were unable to overcome and thus armour was over performing, not TDs are over performing to overcome that armour. There needs to be middle ground. |

for its cost: it`s to easy to counter it. Hell.. in most games i need only this: smoke,mother russia and satchels. noone can do anything against this... smoke deny supression and any dmg from any ressources and moither russia let srpint your penals into enemys lines without any reaction time and than u need only satchel the jgtiger away like its a super cheap unit...
All you need is combined arms, a special ability and a hard counter. JT definitely UP... |
Sadly 60TD and heavy callins dominate by far. No place for others, no place for old panthers.
Imo as i suggested. make allies 60td to 55td. 70td call in to 60td. Perhaps make su85 tracking 5muni cheaper. Also increase the fuel of call in. And we see from here.
As vipper thinks too, instead of power creep, we lower the field. And 60td are just too good. 60td has been identified, so we should fix them firstly
I agree the 60 range TDs are over performing but a range decrease isn't the way imo. Idk if you have played this game but pathing is a very real issue and less range means a bad pathing experience could change the game.
Allied TDs just need reduced pen slightly and deflection damage. Then armour will mean something again. |
I will vote in increasing moving accuracy at vet2. Remove the armor vet if you pity allies.

Vet2 armor bonus is useless now.
The AI of panther is pathetic, dps of grens is nothing to be proud of.
As i feel, dskha and 50cap dps are way better and they are not on panther
Saying the armour is useless because of TDs is like saying target size is useless because of AOE attacks. The armour helps against every thing that isn't a TD including but not limited to: the damage from snares, at guns, hand at, any tank that isn't a TD, off maps and rocket arty

They are better because they are cheaper and are not inferior while having many useful abilities. Starting with ram and finishing with repair crews and many many other including different types of smoke extra speed,etc. Hard to enumerate even. Panther is just a silly overpriced hybrid of strange features which can work only when you are ahead of your opponent anyway. On similar skill matchup allied tanks give you much better results for what you pay. That is why I believe that the thread makes sense and panther should be somehow buffed. I would give it more anty infantry capabilities (making it a slightly better comet).
Its utility vs combat stats. The things that require extra (be it resources or micro) are always cheaper than the equivalent that is better in raw stats.
In a flat fight p4s always have the edge against any allied medium due to higher armour and great pen. If you think balance is a wash because worse tanks have more non tank things they can do, imagine how bad it would be if they were worse tanks that couldn't do anything..
And the panther already IS a slightly better comet. It has more range, health and pen. The comet makes up that by more armour and more utility. That's how balance works. What you want is superior axis armour with nothing on the other side to help make up for that by the sounds of it. |
