Alternatively the ram came from a flank which is also fair game. Imo Ram/off map is way too effective while relatively easy to pull even frontally (in 2vs2 games and 1vs1). I would try moving redesigning Ram to be a skill shot that scale with veterancy. In: COH2 Balance

Its a balance component called "counter play" you see, a unit that has 450 front armour, 70 range and guaranteed pen against all enemies as well as a barrage that can fuck up static crews has to be killable some how. That somehow is by taking risks and exploiting its low mobility. It's not a balance issue. It's actually intended Ram is not really a skill shot since it has guaranteed stun on impact which is provides enough time to kill super heavy tanks with off map. Ram stuns with or with out penetrating so there "vulnerable" in from any position. I rammed and killed 2 elephants in game today. In: COH2 Balance

Just the higher CP requirement and slightly worse Mark Target before vet. Even if he's still not great, it's better to make small changes for balance. This gives the balance team and playerbase more time to figure out his power level. Maybe the changes were enough, maybe not. I use both the ISU and JT regularly. The ISU's rate of fire makes it bad against Panthers, Tigers, etc. It isn't a good TD, certainly not as good as getting 2 SU-85's. It needs a larger support army than a JT because it dies easily if someone can dive even a P4 in behind it. I can't remember the last time I lost a JT. I've lost a couple ISU's in the last week when people were able to strip away enough of its support using arty and/or skill planes. I'm not excited about the change to the JT but will play it before saying anything about it. That is simply untrue, a ISU-152 has 155 rear vs 110 for JT or ELe. A PzIV vs ISU-152 firing at rear/side armor 30/0 range has 70%/80% to penetrate. A T-34/76 firing at rear/side armor 30/0 range has 72%/100% to penetrate. While T-34/76 is cheaper fast and can ram. And since a Dshk can penetrate the rear armor of panther at close it can kill it about according to you "Whether chances are low is irrelevant". Another suggestion is to start separating reality from the game, in reality the Ostwind could kill a T-34/76 in game its rather rare. In: COH2 Gameplay
