Stormjäger Disagree, commanders that are bad need to be retooled to fit their theme better and be stronger for their role... Buffing 1 commander to be at become at same power level as the average of the faction might not even make it meta. Nerfing the the Top choice commander to the average power level of faction greatly increases meta. One can see that with the Spec OP nerfs that greatly increased the OKW commander used. Again its about nerfing and not buffing, it is also about adding different utility not giving the best tools to every commander. In: COH2 Balance

At present the Soviet Industry commander is under no threat of becoming OP. Not is not and Urban is simply better. Plus with the IS2 buff you're better off going for armoured assault. T-34/85 is one of the most cost efficient premium medium's there is little reason to be available in more commander to make them "more attractive". Actually some of the commanders it is already available should be redesigned. In: COH2 Balance

Cons for example are meant to be utility units that hold the line. Cover makes sense there. Same with Tommies whom have worse stats when not in cover and horrible moving stats and no sappers until tech. They are static infantry so it makes the utmost sense for them to be always able to fight from cover. Ost on the other hand is as combined arms as it gets. You should always have pios on hand and it's always worth having pios on hand. There is no real reason for grens to build their own cover tbh and if it's on grens then what happens if you plan to go ass grens? No sandbags for your mgs? No. It doesn't make sense. Imo Tommie should not be able to build cover or trenches and that was part of the problem with them because in most cases they where fighting from heavy cover. Actually imo mainline infatry should not be able to built cover or do it very slow speed. I guess one could make an exception for Conscripts but they should lose the ability when upgunned (SVT/PPsh) or with 7 entities. In: COH2 Balance

The 17p animation was trying to replicated the super fast projectile of the gun so they was no projectile. Then Relic realized that the unit was be to score collision hits but it was too late to fix the animation, so currently there is an "invisible" projectile. There was similar issue with okw "heat rounds" for a time if I remember correctly. In: COH2 Balance

Maybe because of terrain and the lack of projectile? Had a game on Eindhoven today where the Comet wouldn't hit anything when there was elevation at play. Not sure if that is normal with the weird main gun it has because of how little Comets were and still are used. That is inaccurate the Comet has a projectile and can hit collision hits.
