And yes in game, the E8 works as all other shermans do and of course, around the t70 also. The radio net does work when any allie medium or heavy is in the radios as it states to target heavy, medium and the t70 specifically. Unfortunately I can not test now. There was a time the 2 radio nets where different, it was probably fixed at some point maybe when they fixed the stacking exploit. In: COH2 Balance

Whats really weird is that radio intercept works when around one light vehicle only, the t70. Literately states in the attribute editor to work only around the t70 (in terms of light vehicles). Have you made in game tests? Because at some point I am certain the Easy8 radio net was working differently. As for radio net for shermans some other vehicles also provide the bonus like the ambulance if I remember correctly. In: COH2 Balance

Also this thing about the radio nets being different is news to me. Not saying I doubt you, but is there more specific information you can give about this? I have not checked lately but radio net for most sherman work with most vehicles around it. So I sherman will get the bonus regardless of type of vehicle is around it. On the other hand they Easy8 will get the bonus only if it near another easy8 or a couple of other vehicles. In: COH2 Balance

Now I would like to point out something you seem to have missed. 1) Pintle Mg 76mm mg is far superior to most pintle mg 2) Radio net Radio net bonus includes ROF and the 76mm get incredulous ROF with the bonus To make things even worse (as far as I can remember and since I can not test now) the Radio net work with most vehicles for 76mm and only for specific ones for Easy8. Both unit are cost efficient. As for penetration/ROF change I suspect that the change would actually be a nerf since it would help in less cases. In: COH2 Balance

Part of the reason I pointed out this is because I find "HEAT" rounds very good. Generally speaking Pack howitzer is very good against ambient buildings, it can bring them down extremely fast, good vs team weapon, very good vs structure and even work vs vehicles. So now we have a new theory, it received accuracy and not the accuracy as initially claimed, at least you learned something. Funny thou you brought up osttuppen thou because ostruppen start with target size of 1.25 so even with vet bonus the size becomes 0.89 while Partisans have a smaller size at 0.83 Eventually you will also understand that the stat of unit is combination of base stat and vet bonus and not one or the other. But the fact that they have very low dps on 4 model squad with no durability at all means you can effectively fight exclusively undefended weapon teams. News flash, Storm troopers do not get first strike bonus so partisan camo mechanism is superior and come with not penalties/cost. As for their DPS is almost 50% better than that of pioneer for a price that is close, if you expect them to ave anything close to a unit that far more expensive like the Storm Troopers you have very little understanding of the game mechanics. The problem with turning them in to a utility unit imo is that that is what conscripts currently are. The amount of utility required to compete with conscript’s utility would have to be crazy!
