Thread: Spring Update - Balance thread20 Apr 2018, 00:26 AM I'm a little confused on why people are complaining about swapping armor for hp on the panther. Considering the Panther is likely to come out around the same times as allied TDs armor basically become unimportant as allied tds already have a high armor pen. Therefore adding hp to the panther gives it survivability against its biggest counter - TDs. Also having another shot to survive in tank duels is the difference between winning and losing. One of the biggest issue with the Panther is that if you manage to get luck with bounces/rng then its nice but if not it gets melted. This should give the panther better consistency. The only thing really up for debate as ElChino7 said was if the price increased was actually necessary. Before these we had sim city garbage, useless cons, massive pshrek blobs, Double 50 cal rifle terminators and broken flame weapons. Atleast the community patches are trying to fix balance in this game, old relic patches would just break the game. (WFA, UKF, Released 81mm USF mortar). In: COH2 Balance

There is a reason why 2 of them cost 75 instead of 120 on guards. But cons should never get any long range upgrade, it would lead to gren/volk like blobbing. I know the dp-28 its weaker then other lmgs but even with just one dp Cons really benefit a ton from them. If cons get things like Bars, Mg42s or Brens thats a entire different beast. Yeah I agree upgrading cons with long range upgrades would be bad. Having a durable 6 man squad at vet 3 with lmgs is the last thing we want. In: COH2 Balance

If you have ever managed to pick up a dp-28 or other mg on a con then u know how ridiculously strong they are with them.
