Thread: Anyone else find the regular Sherman useless?19 Mar 2024, 18:48 PM Partly I think it has to do with meta over actual unit performance. For Wher Luftwaffle (Shrek Jaegers) and DAK buffed Panzerjaegers being fairly omnipresent it's a lot safer to go Bulldozer. Furthermore, in 1v1 at least, T4 for both axis factions seems to be an afterthought for a lot of players and if a heavier vehicle comes out it's usually a Brumm/Panther/Tiger when you'll want a Hellcat. Until you see more P3/P4 usage and less handheld AT swarms Sherman won't be the optimal pick in most cases In: COH3 Central

You're completely correct that Relic needs to be better at communicating bans and having a clear and defined process for litigating it. But man, to be honest it's not surprising at all to me that you got banned after posting pictures of Relic staff and more or less suggesting that they might be examples people who were hired more for inclusion and diversity's sake than job performance and by extension that could partially explain why COH3's launch wasn't great - that's tiptoeing pretty close to "defamation". I doubt that was your intent or that you were being malicious but you have to have better self-awareness when you KNOW that Relic takes that stuff seriously. In: COH3 Central

There is simply way too little MP content in the game right now, it's just a matter of "will the game survive long enough until all the content is there". Because then I can almost guarantee everyone that CoH3 will do better than CoH2 This is how I feel and that's as a strictly 1 and 2s player who has more maps compared to 3s and 4s. If Relic has any sense they will start fast tracking maps, content, and faster patches even if they are smaller. The foundation for a good game is there but the complete lack of buzz or interest around the limited content is dragging it down fast. In: COH3 Central
Thread: Operation Brass Leopard18 May 2023, 19:03 PM The priority to make a comp stomp map is the only really big headscratcher for me. Only guess is that its been "in the works" for a while and it made more sense to them to finish it than start a more needed project that would take longer... Other than that all the QoL changes all look really good to me and the audio fixes will be a crowd pleaser for sure. INB4 someone makes "Brass Monkey" parody for the patch. In: COH3 Central

I imagine Relic will eventually cave and take more community content into the game but just aren't doing it from jump since it would probably be a bad look to have community members bailing you out from your lack of content at launch. As soon as I saw Falls and Commandos in tech test I was flabbergasted as to why they had snares (granted COH3 snare mechanics makes this less OP but it's still questionable). Anti-everything Luftwaffe loiter is a travesty when Sector Overwatch in COH2 is universally hated as a "Iwin" button. Easy 8 buffs show how easy it is to push game into full-on call-in meta. The list does indeed go on... I think the balance team has done a good job overall but I'm not sure if it's just hubris on part of them thinking they can make these things work this time around? Or maybe they just were scared to be accused of re-skinning COH2 and keeping too much of the same mechanics? In: COH3 Central
