Seriously since they nerfed ram, 2 Tigers is basically impossible to deal with, 3 Tigers, just go ahead and kill me now. My favorite COH2 expression is: "There is really no problem in COH2 two Tigers can't solve," and I've been saying it for months...
I should have posted a game where I lost almost all my infantry and had 7 vps left and won with 2 Tigers. Patch killed that one though..

Just like when you needed to buy Elite Troops to counter SovInd...
You can counter it with fast paks, but it's pretty damn hard.

I am cursed with a critical mind. But usually right about things - see the epic ISU post, ha.
I don't know how the expansion balance will play out, there are things I really like in it, but I can't even talk about those! One particular faction matchup is really, really fun to play.
I shall play next few days as MoraleVampire in honor of you Wombat.

Probably your multitasking. It takes a while to get used to switching screens rapidly, whereas in 2v2 your forces are usually concentrated on one side of the map, so you can micro faster.
Still, Langres is one of the easier maps to micro, it usually turns into a campy face-off by mid game...I always lose the unit going to harass the fuel lol...

Why would I organize a boycott over a possibly bad expansion? The pre-nerf Tiger Ace was a grievous mistake which Relic admitted and corrected, though it took far longer than it should have.
All I'm saying is that I suspect less work was put into this expansion than it needed, and hurried work, and it will show. And that's disappointing, not boycott worthy. Like many people, I'm waiting to see what things look like on release.

The best solution to the M3 issue is to turn the unit into a dedicated scouting unit, with less firepower and larger LOS, like the jeep. It would be even better if the M3 could have bonuses vs snipers, but they got rid of the target tables in COH2, so probably not possible. You should still be able to garrison it to pull off riskier flanks but it should not have the firepower it has. The flamer + gun DPS is just too high.
In turn the Ostheer sniper could get well-deserved health or armor buffs to increase its survivability. |
You don't look too confident in your product as a developer if you're trying so hard to stifle discussion and downplay software issues (through the NDA and alpha naming respectively) so close to your launch date.
Put two and two together regarding the lack of information about one specific faction, and information that someone else leaked in this thread and you understand the big picture guys.
How can you release information on something that's not even done and undergoing major, major changes from day to day, at the last minute before release?
Just so disappointing.

No, he is right about that too.
"I am used to" is an idiomatic phrase in English that means I'm accustomed to something.
When used as verb, it uses normal tenses and is the English imperfect. Ie., "he used to be strong." In French that would be "Une fois il etait fort." But it's never used in the present tense because it always refers to the past. "I use to be a star" is incorrect spelling, but it's a common error because it sounds exactly the same when spoken.
