Thread: Faceplate's that indicate ELO/Rank?8 Jul 2015, 16:23 PM Only after a match is played, if people see beforehand the rank of the opponent they can be greatly discouraged/demoralised before the game even started, if they are new players or their rank is low. People are quitting in team games right now, because their team mates don't have prestige 3 or whatever, the dropping rate will even increase if you see the skill level before a game. In: Lobby

I think I even introduced the term "superglue" My only problem is that it's so cheap and so quick, countering doctrinal abilities like Riegel Mines. Cost and repair time needs to be increased. Risky dives into enemy territory without sweeper support should be punished, that's coh2 basics. Super glue just gives a shit about that. When comparing it with OKW self repair or soviet self repair it's cheaper, quicker, better, safer, non doctrinal and works on your team mates, in short is superior in every way. Other doctrines will get second wind for soviets, allowing for much more diverse playstyle as call-in armor dependency won't be such huge issue anymore. Call-in infantry dependency will remain a problem though. Decent players won't have a problem, I just think about all those Molo style players. That use guard motor in 80 % of their games. It's very dull and uninspired. Keep Soviet at 2-man but fix him some other way. Maybe experiment with having the second man use a Crit-Kill Rifle like Pathfinder's so he can work with other Infantry. And again, ROF based on Squad Size would solve many problems Snipers have. Snipers wars in coh1 were a problem because of the cloak snipers had in coh1. In coh2 you need cover for cloak and in addition you can force snipers to retreat by simply chasing the snipers with your units. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Ostheer Sniper Op, When NERF ?8 Jul 2015, 07:21 AM 82 hp is a good choice, because it omits frustrating RNG wipe moments on your vetted 360 mp unit, that you microed well the whole game long. Since NDA NDA has also 82 hp, I think the logic step would be to rework the soviet sniper so its also a single entity with 82 hp. I don't understand why people want 80 hp, so it can be lololshotted by a mortar again - you think thats fine and not frustrating? In: COH2 Balance
