Sure you can do that with your Sturmpios, but the early Sturmpio is a very important unit in early game and not using him to cap & fight in early game is hindering you more than wire does to your opponent. Especially in early game you have your only time window to vet your Sturmpio. Every good player will eventually get sweepers. Forcing him to invest 30 munitions on a sweeper early in the game has hardly any effect on the game. Yeah I also had that attitude, then I got sandbagged on semosky, Ghost tank trapped on Ettelbrück north VP and then I started to do the same. Just wipe the ranks of the game modes that somebody hasn't played for ~3 months. Or when somebody goes inactive, hide his rank on the leaderboard and after playing one match display it again. Sturm pios supported by double kubel = gg wp, of course you can beat it, but before you do so, they will already have 2 fuel points and control of 70% of the map Because they have so much capping power with 1 or 2 sturmpios and 2 kübels, this double kübel strat is simply countered by spreading out your units as USF or getting a M3A1 as soviets which now can be out instantly thanks to the fuel decrease of t1 (50->40). Funnily relic back then increased t1 fuel price simply to delay the M3, well looks like they don't care for previous balance changes. In: Lobby |

The much bigger problem is wire ghosting in any way. I exclusively ghost wire as OKW because it takes so fucking long to build this wire that can now be cut. COME AT ME I also ghost sandbag every entrance, simply because relic allows this stuff to happen. While PTRS blow OKW/USF/BRIT sandbags you need tanks to crush krupp steel soviet sandbags. They need just to be easier destroyed by paks/raketenwerfer. And more important, ghosted buildings should have no collision !!! Ghosted tank traps by RE, ghosted Con sandbags & ghosted wire is pure cheese (I abuse it till it gets fixed, LELic knows no other way) In: COH2 Gameplay |

Counterplay should be increased: Greatly increase their target size so you can easily destroy them with paks/raketenwerfer. Whenever I try to do that half of the shots are missing. Soviets have no bunkers so it's OK to have superior sandbags for them. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Good players will easily dodge it, it's purely denial of area. Far too expensive compared to other abilities. However, sometimes enemies don't know about how the ability works and just stay in target circle, I won already games by that, because my opponent clumped his whole army together and everything got destroyed. I did this sometimes when B4 was in every game. Noticed that: -Scatter of the shells is quite high, it's possible that not even one shell hits the artillery piece. -It's too expensive ( get a panther or now p4, upgrade it with officer, use arty which also costs munitions) -It's too risky (often enough your tank hits a mine somewhere or gets bumrushed by medium armour) -The doctrine leaves you vulnerable in early/mid game It's safer to save 400 munitions and hope that scavenger arty hits. Stuka works against it but is unreliable, sometimes the stuka destroys it, sometimes decrews and sometimes doesn't hit at all. In: Lobby |
