I think Guards Combined Arms would be pretty hot with the new buffed ML20. DP Conscripts with hit the dirt would be great for countering MG42s since they are immune to suppression. Sandbags were a reliable way to create cover for units that are always short of cover due to it being blown away. Conversely, we generally see axis units sitting more comfortably behind cover. This is a bit of a problem. What are you smoking? All the cover gets blown away by ptrs rifles or by the own schreck infantry when units close in. Ostheer can't even build sandbags and that's for a faction where its main infantry is supposed to sit behind cover on long range. Best cover in the game are tank traps with wire, and only USF and OKW have a easy access to that, since SOV & Ost traps are locked away in useless doctrines. In: Lobby

Since that's the last time you touched the game However I agree with other posters here, cons need an late game option without buffing their early game. Thanks but no thanks, I will rely on my panthers if the fuel cost for PIV J will be ridiculous as some people are discussing here. The OKW P4 has about 51 % chance to deflect a T34/85 shot on long range, 44 % with 3x 5 % armour bulletins. Just to compare, a SU85 has about 49 % chance to penetrate a KT on long range. You are underestimating how good the OKW P4, especially with vet. Combine it with a pak43 or a JP4 and you have a force that is hard to take out. I played already 1vs1 in alpha with it and there were long games where I fielded KT, Stuka, P4. When playing okw the biggest challenge is to keep your armour alive, not to initially field it. It deserves its 135 price tag, especially when the T34/85 also costs as much. In: COH2 Balance

Popcap increase is a big lategame nerf and manpower increase will lead to a gg if you are in a situation where you bleed a lot of mp or got some rng infantry wipes. I think its fine as it is.
